Important Message

It has been well over a year since I began my internet adventure posting several threads of information on several different blogs. The time and energy spent has been terrific and I can no longer keep up the pace.

I can't continue to update this blog simply because I don't have the time working two other jobs and trying to have time with my family as well. Publishing a post once a week just is not enough to keep people coming back for more.

If you have enjoyed this information please "Jump into the Fast Lane" and check out Anarchist World. This same information will be there and it will be updated every two days! This is better service and offers more content as well. I can do this through future posting on wordpress blogs. This blog does not support future posting.

By posting in only one location I figure I can free up 75% more available time. That is a considerable amount of time and effort saved. This cost has been so high because I have been trying to maintain over 100 blogs in an effort to find and attract new readers. I will be dropping down to only those you see on Anarchist World.

The Web of Lies and Deceit

Our social and political world is so filled with lies and deceit it is almost impossible to determine what is real and what is true. Every great issue seems to deteriorate into a shouting match where the loudest and angriest proclaim themselves the winner. There is little interest or tolerance for what the other side is trying to say.

Is it coincidence that a person can find within each political party a 50/50 split of things they believe in and things they do not believe in? If there was a list of the top 20 things I believe in the most why must the Democrats have 10 and the Republicans have 10? Of the top 20 things I despise the most why is the same thing true? The Democrats endorse half and the Republicans endorse the other half.

Why are the issues forced into a dual/oppositional tug of war that will never find resolution? Why do the parties align themselves in this manner?

Government of the people as collective agreement needs to be distinguished from the force backed coercive government that exists today. Can anyone really believe in the restraints that are being imposed on free individuals? Does the American public really collectively support what is going on? I doubt it.

What about the rabble rousers that stir the emotions of the public and gain their support only to back down into silence once they have the power and the money. If a cause is just today won't it be as just tomorrow as well? Does power really corrupt that much? How can we thread a path through these distortions and remain true to the inner voice of our conscience?

There is a need to believe in the goodness of people and also in the need for vigilance in the protection of personal freedom. Like the martial artist we may bow to our opponent in respect but keep our eyes open to avoid a kick in the face. This path is a delicate balance that balances competency and supportiveness in a unique way. This is how to be assertive without being agressive. The question is how can our passive society learn this path or must we keep rebounding from one extreme to the other?

An important first step is the open discussion of paradox resolution. The masses need to feel they have choices in who and what they are voting for but that is an illusion. Vote Democrat or Republican and you are still voting for a member of the Trilateral Commision and the New World Order. We are given the illusion of choices A,B and C but choice D is never voiced and not even known to exist. It's time we started talking about choice D.

Modern technology is creating an electronic web that infiltrates every aspect of our lives. We are slowly being crowded into corners where compliance is the only choice. What does this mean for personal freedom? What happens when the laws and regulations become so restrictive that the normal human being can not comply? This is already happening as people drive without insurance or a valid license. What happens when the laws become unenforcable because too many disregard them?

Is it time for stronger and tougher enforcement? You will hear a lot about this in days to come because technology is making this very possible and likely. The creation of tougher laws and restrictions can not right the wrongs of the world. Coercive force is not the answer. Collective agreement is the answer.

This will take the collective agreement of rugged individualists and those competent in living skills. It will take place on a grass roots level as people begin to talk about option D, the choice that is never voiced.

What is option D? The development of self-discipline within each individual and the allowance of natural consequences in nature. Each person has the innate right to experience the natural consequences of their life choices, good or bad. What gives government the right to alter natural law?

When it comes right down to it there is only one thing that matters. Personal effort is what matters. Everything else is illusion. Even someone that makes mistakes will learn from their efforts. In fact, that is how most of us learn. Personal effort is cummulative and we gain skill and competency with each new attempt.

The lie and deceit is that trying to help someone that won't be helped is worthwhile. Most people will not change until the pressures of survival force them to change. There is a great need for tough love in this country. We can't keep bailing people out that are not even trying to change.

The law of nature demands discipline. This can either be self-imposed or externally imposed. Why are we never told about the option of self-imposed discipline? Perhaps that would not be in the interests of those that would economically enslave the world. We are only told about externally imposed discipline through force backed law.

The Order of Anarchistic Knights is a magickal order devoted to the empowerment of the human race and all individuals. When You Empower the Individual

The question at hand is whether human society requires external authority and force backed laws to ensure compliance and order within our civilization.

There is a fundamental error in this type of thinking. Success, adaptability and competency are what makes things right in our world. There is no need for rule through force and intimidation in today's world.

In nature symbiotic relationships form to create the "circle of life". This creates a balanced win-win situation for the entire ecosystem and the life forms within it. Originally our legal system was created and intended to do much the same thing. Laws were meant to be a collective agreement that was flexible and adaptive to new situations.

Today's casual use of initiatory force against individuals to enforce social compliance can never be justified. Might does not make right. When oppression and force become unbearable human society will reject the existing structure and make a quantum leap into a new more advanced social structure. The old external authorities will be abandoned.

Be on guard against any attempts to rationalize how important the New World Order and stricter regulations are to human society. America was founded upon the concepts of rugged individualism, self-competency and collective agreement. It was not created to restrict the American population and force them into ecomonic slavery.

I am convinced that the safest course is in the development of self-discipline within the individual and the growth of the Christ Spirit within our hearts. This is our internal authority that is most precious to each one of us. We need to place our trust in each other and in the inherent goodness of the human race in order to survive. Believing in the highest good brings out the highest good in each of us.

External authority and gun backed force through terror and intimidation can not in the long run be in the best interest of the individual or the nation as a whole. In this matter good intentions only make things worse by not dealing with the core issues but instead handing personal power over to a government only too happy to place restrictions on personal freedom and civil liberties.

I feel certain that my words speak with a force of truth that can be recognized by all. My message is very simple. When you empower the individual you empower everyone.

Individual Competency

The anarchist and survivalism movements preach individual competency and rugged individualism as supreme goals and they are in one sense. They are a healthy counter movement in response to the sickness of living in an artificial world that has lost touch with the realites of life and survival.

Instead of being allowed to experience the natural consequences of our actions we experience false consequences that reward passive acceptance of external authorities and force backed laws. We are being trained to be passive and to allow others to make decisions for us that affect our lives. The right to choose is slowly being taken away from us item by item.

We have produced a society that is decadent and non-vital. We no longer want to produce values through hard work and effort. Instead we want to consume without giving back and that is against the laws of nature. The circle of life demands a give and take in all things. The anarchist and survivalist movements understand this and their message is to connect with physical reality before it is too late. Their message is to start giving back before it is too late.

On the other hand it is too easy to be an extremist. Emotionally charged arguements raise passions and lower rational thought. People vote with their emotions and not with their minds. The loudest voice is not always the right one.

Anarchists and survivalists cannot forget the collective community. None of us are an island. We live in a world of other people and we need each other. It is time to reawaken the concept of government by the people and for the people. This means government that is collectively agreed upon by all parties not one backed by force and guns. When our government reaches the point it needs to force compliance onto a resistive citizenry it needs to be rethought.

Extreme movements to the left and the right can only polarize and worsen divisive issues making things worse. Can government be for rugged individualism and competency? Is there a resolution to the paradox? Our founding fathers once thought it was possible. They spoke of the need for a federal govenment and how it was just as important as rugged individualism. They never intended the monstrousity that now threatens personal freedom and imposes economic slavery at increasing levels. They never intended unwed mothers continue to get pregnant so they can recieve aid from social services.

Change comes out of need and there is a current need for something new. The law of nature is the law of survival and adaptability. We don't need to be the biggest predators but we do need to be the most adaptable and successful.

Right now our country is ruled by predators that make their living by creating a world where people are passive, dependent and struggling against unrelenting poverty. The middle class that once made America strong is dissapearing and will soon be gone. What will take its place? What artificial horror will be offered as a solution to the medicare and social security crisis? What will happen when physical reality collides with smooth talking politicians that will say anything to get elected? What will happen when the threat of religious damnation is not enough to fill the offering plate? What will happen when people once more do business on a handshake without calling in a team of lawyers first? What will happen what a legal system based upon precedence confronts unprecedented and unimaginable issues?

Humans are essentially honest and hardworking. Why are we being forced into dishonesty and laziness? We can help each other and work together toward individual competency, not toward external authority. Self-discipline is the answer, not coercive laws. Individual action is the answer and not individual passiveness. This is especially true at the grass roots level.

Life is precious and if we are not waking up in the morning excited about the coming day there is something dreadfully wrong and it is not something the government or external authority can fix. If we are spending our lives in fear of terrorism the government can not make it right by placing more restrictions on personal freedoms. Only we can make our lives worth living by not asking someone else to do what we should be doing ourselves.

It is time for the American public to become active, not reactive. It is time to say once more government by the people and for the people as collective agreement. It is time for all of the world's rugged individualists and survivalists to stand up and be counted in their local communities. They are the only ones that know what needs to be done and it needs to be done collectively. That is the solution to the paradox.

Don't be too hasty

There are lots of grey areas in life. Things are not as black and white as they seem. Two important axioms of chaos theory are that all inputs are valid and everything connects to everything else. There is a cliche that the wind from a butterfly's wings in Japan can influence the weather pattern in Kansas. It is impossible to tell where one influence ends and another begins.

This is true in political institutions and organizations as well. In every corner of life we can find men and women doing evil under the guize of right intention. The war in Iraq is but one example. Even more confusing are the honest errors of a voting public led astray by precocieved jealousies and fears.

People actually believe they are voting in good conscience for the right things. We see enlightened people on the wrong sides of issues as well as on the right side. This is the limitation of logic and reason. Each side has a portion of the truth and it is only the resolution of the paradox that is worth pursuing.

For these and other reasons we can suggest moderation and caution in making strong positions for social change. It is too easy to apply force and coercion under the guise of social neccessity when in reality self imposed discipline can work as well or much better.

Anytime we see a person or cause loaded with emotional and provacative slogans we do well to question the underlying nature of such saber rattling. Sadly emotional issues are also battle grounds for personal ambition, avarice and animousity. Some people take advantage of the emotional content and use it for personal gain not caring one particle for the real issue.

An example in point is Anarchist World. I use the term anarchist in a way that is not familiar and it tends to polarize people either for or against the site. For me the term anarchist means to be true to an inner authority and not to an external authority. The casual reader including my own children and my wife misunderstand my own stance on this. To them the trigger word "Anarchist" means something that they do not want to associate with. They are being hasty.

I've mentioned Anarchist World is in reaction to an increased movement toward the one world order and the economic enslavement of the human race. An extreme in one movement can only be met by an extreme in the other direction. People can not be forced into social conformity. They can not be made to change their minds on things they feel strongly about. I've heard it said the opposition never changes its mind. If we are lucky we can outlive them. Old age and death removes the opposition, not dialogue.

We can say with conviction and an understanding of human nature that we will never change the opinions or beliefs of those trying to bring about the new world order. They remain convinced coercive force is needed to bring required social conformity into the world. Laws backed with guns and economic sanctions are thought to be needed to preserve the free world.

This is twisted thinking that does not need to be tolerated. While terror and intimidation are effective the solution is not to be the biggest predator. We do not need to be bullied by the government to protect us from ourselves and our neighbors.

Self-esteem, assertiveness and competency of living by example can change the world. This is the new message to proclaim to everyone that will listen! People do care about family, friends, loved ones and community. They care about these things locally on the grass roots level. By taking care of what is in our own back yard there will be no need for external authority to tell us what we can and can not do.

Anarchist World is doing just that by spreading a message of hope and belief in the human race and in the productive individual. Might does not make right. Competency makes right. The incompetent do not deserve to be in positions of power. The incompetent do not deserve to make our decisions for us. We do not need to bully the bully. We only need to stand our ground and not allow threat, coercive force and intimidation to work against us. We do not need to give our power away!

Consideration of the Public Good

The Order of Anarchistic Knights might seem like an oxymoron or a paradox to some people. Isn't an anarchist against any type of order and organization? Does't being an anarchist imply getting rid of all social order and controls? Isn't that why people fear the term?

First I would like to state that the perfect form of government has existed for thousands of years virtually unchanged. It has proven itself over and over again. I am of course refering to the military as a form of government. The military is a totalitarian form of absolute government. It is complete government of everything.

I've spent eight years in the Air Force and they were good years. The military was good to me and I don't fear it. It's a good place to become invisible as long as someone is not out to make an example of you.

The problem is that large segments of society could not exist or thrive in a military structure. They would find it oppressive and confining. It would kill their spirit.

On the other hand total anarchy is not a workable system either. There needs to be some type of social controls and consensus for stability and security. These social controls should be agreed upon and accepted in a voluntary manner and not shoved down our throats as force backed law.

When the movement toward total government control gets wildly out of hand like it has today the only appropriate response is a movement toward personal freedom and anarchy. The hope is to get both sides to sit down and talk to find some compromise. If today's social movement was dangerously plunging us into a virtual state of anarchy I would be on the side of order and social control. There is a need for middle ground. Neither extreme position is viable or in the best interests of society.

Having said all that, there is a need for rugged individualists in today's world. They can lead us by example and show us how to live competent and rewarding lives. The American dream of being self employed is as real today as it ever has. I know it is my dream.

I also believe there is a movement to confuse the American public and lead them into economic slavery. The solution for today's problems is not the economic enslavement of humanity but the freedom of the individual to follow his or her own path and conscience. The use of initiatory force against an individual is never justified and must be fought at all cost.

There is a wrong minded thinking that insists on forcing compliance upon others through coersion and legislation. There is not the consensus viewpoint anymore but the veiwpoint of a few powerful people trying to ensure they retain those positions of power for themselves.

The Order of Anarchistic Knights offers an alternative for a new consensus reality. The idea is to put new concepts out on the table and get people thinking about them and talking about them. It's time to come up with a new consensus view of the world we want to live in. Don't believe what I have to say but use it as a springboard to discover what you believe. Then let's talk. Perhaps what you want and what I want are not that far apart. Perhaps we can find a way to live according to internal authority and not external authority.

A New World Is Being Born

The Order of Anarchistic Knights is in part a dream of a utopian society consisting of loosely linked individuals around the world that share common values and beliefs. The Rosicrucians taught that it was common for fellow Rosicrucians to repell each other in personality even though they believed and were bonded in the same brotherhood. They stood far apart like pillars that supported the heavens. There was no need for them to be a closely knit group of people.

OAK is meant to exist in a similar vein. The membership supports each other in the freedom to exist as each sees fit according to the voice of conscience. The common link is to place absolute trust with the voice of conscience as an internal authority and the development of self-discipline as opposed to force backed external authority.

We have an understanding that the universe is a chaos energy system and there is a need to explore all possibilities before making a quantum leap in the evolution of humanity. This is not a popular choice and humanity is at a crossroads.

The current government is no longer viable and insists upon going against natural law by keeping alive institutions and policies that reward passive compliance and lack of personal effort. Hard work and rugged individualism are not tolerated. Does our current government ensure the well being of its citizens or does it threaten personal liberties and creativity?

Why have we gotten away from living by example to relying on force backed laws? These are interesting questions. Can humanity establish community based upon reflection and choice enforced through self-discipline or must we forever depend upon legislation enforced by guns?

This book is going to explore these issues at length. You might ask what these topics have to do with magick,mystery and madness. True magickal power is not what is commonly percieved.

Every individual has the right to love, a modest life, modest work and a modest home. They also have a right to spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health. The other OAK material covers these areas.

What does it take to be rich or powerful? The answer is simple. It takes people that believe in you and your product. Think about it. The rich and famous are that way because they have done something or represent something to a large segment of the population. They are rich and famous because they have been given group energy. The magickal energy of the group supports them and their efforts.

This is one of the reasons OAK members link together through physical initiations and connect with each other through friendships and study groups. There is magickal power in the group and OAK members are interested in personal empowerment. It is a movement for mental and emotional health as well as a movement for personal freedom. OAK members linked together create a motive force that can change the world.

Modern chaos theory tells how the wind from a butterfly's wings can change the weather patterns on the other side of the world. Everything is that connected. Imagine what OAK can do.

Introduction to the Order of Anarchistic Knights

OAK is a modern day mystery school that has teachings adapted and appropriate for modern humanity. It is a magickal Order devoted to the empowerment of the human race and to the advancement of magick in it's most simple and primal form, pure energy and pure power.

OAK is based on "Chaos" theory and results. This knowledge and power is freely given to all and is believed to be the fastest and safest way of magickal development possible at this time. As a person works through all three degrees of self empowerment they will learn to understand the benefits of physical initiation and it is hoped that all "Anarchistic Knights" will choose to link energies when possible through physical initiations.

There are striking similarities between this tradition and the commonly observed "Wiccan" tradition. Any student of the Wiccan or Pagan path will find much of interest here.

Magister Templi has been reorganized into a 260 page book that is available as an ebook download or a quality paperback. We've talked about the Shadow and the Collective but what role do the ego, anima and animus play in human lives? If the Shadow and Collective are secondary personalities that need to be integrated what are the ego, anima and animus?

The normal ego is the bridge and mediator between the Shadow and the Collective when they are integrated. The Anima or Animus represent the opposite sex aspect of our own souls. Males have a feminine aspect that is not developed and females have a male aspect that is not developed. We need to have a balance of male and female for our egos to develop whole and healthy. We need to be balanced to be a true partner to someone else.

We might say the Shadow represents everything we are not. This includes the things we dislike and fear. That is why the Shadow is seen as evil and Satanic. We project fears and distortions onto it.

The Collective represents the astral memory traces of the way things have always been. It represents what we call our destiny or pathway in life. In reality there is only the present moment and the collective only suggests what might happen if we continue our present course of action.

The anima or animus respectively represents those things we wish we were but feel we aren't. The opposite sex aspect is what we find missing in ourselves. The Shadow and Collective as secondary personalities are both alien entities to our normal ego. We don't miss them because we don't consider them a part of us.

Astral energy is generated at the cellular level by our physical bodies. It can be either male or female depending on our own gender. A male physical cell can not generate female astral energy because it does not have an XX Chromosome. A female physical cell can not generate male astral energy because it does not have an XY Chromosome. This is basic biology.

The needed opposite sex energy has to come from an opposite sex partner in some manner. This is the spark between people in love relationships that attracts them together and allows their souls to grow as their energy combines. This might also be the spark that brings friends together.

Relationships can be romantic, sexual, or platonic. There are many types of male/female energy that can be shared. There are many types of love. male/female energy can even be transmitted through internet lines as many are finding out. This male/female energy can be spiritual, mental, emotional, sexual or physical. All types of energy need to be explored and it is unlikely that one person can supply them all.

Through the development of the relationship male/female energy is shared and the part of us that is missing becomes developed. We become able to find in ourselves what we were looking for in others. At that point of wholeness and completeness the spark dies and the relationship moves on either to explore new energies or it dies and you move on to find a new partner. Once we find in ourselves what we were looking for we no longer need the other person in the same way. The relationship changes and the feelings change as well. The other person is not longer special in the same way.

We may have become balanced in that energy but our unbalanced energies will act to destroy the relationship. Our partner doesn't have the required energies this time.

This is why love sparks in relationships and then later dies in some relationships. That energy was used to create astral bodies complete with psychic sensory abilities created out of a particular type of energy. The energy of love creates a healthy human ego in both people in one of the 118 possible elements. Good work! There are only 117 levels left to develop.

In actual practice and in tradition we seem to have seven great loves and not 118. We each have a soulmate partner to develop the seven chakra centers. When all seven astral bodies have been developed our ego is balanced and complete. This is the lessor work. When we are done our ego is strong enough to integrate the Collective and the Shadow. Only after all those things are done can we be healthy enough and balanced enough to find our true mate, our equal. We find them not out of need but because we are healthy enough and ready to be an equal partner in all ways.

Relationships and love do make the world go round.

The Spiritual Planes and the Magickal Planes

When we consider everything that exists as photon driven energy systems that are evolving it means human awareness as well. When we consider the organizing intelligence contained within a cell that remains unconnected to the physical matter that is passed into it and out of it we understand life has evolved past the point of being completely dependent on molecular compound energy. Something exists independently in the astral as life energy.

Entering the astral is at first dependent on the energy produced through the breaking of compound molecules and the stresses of physical existence. A point is reached where existence within the astral is sustained directly through a connection with the original photon driven energy system that first created our awareness in combination with a solid earth connection through our physical body and terminating at the 118th element.

When the evolutionary force reached the 118th element and can't go any further it begins backing up and enters the astral as the life force. It is this force that first organises as bions.

This cellular intelligence and organizing principle has been called the life force, the ID, the Shadow,the Power Animal, Gaia and Lucifer. The evolutionary forces have formed this life force into a secondary personality that exists within each one of us as an alien entity.

This life force and organizing intelligence passes from living organism to living organism if possible. Consider that every living thing has been created from some other living thing. No living thing has been created out of something dead. The life force has adapted in many ways to ensure the continuity of life on planet earth.

The death of cellular life created memory traces within the astral of blueprints that recorded past life patterns through time. As those dying energy pulses returned to source they became free to enter life once more. This time able to choose the type of life they wanted to live and re-experience.

Re-entering a previously lived life meant there was a preordained destiny to follow but it also meant the ability to improve upon that individual life and make it more successful. These astral memory traces formed around living organisms and species as group souls. They also formed around the entire earth as ecosytems creating a delicate balance within all living things.

These memory traces have been called destiny, the astral, egregores, the collective,our ancestors, the Super Ego, the Divine Plan and the Holy Guardian Angel. They represent how things will be in the future because they are the memories of how things have always been.

We call this organizing intelligence our Holy Guardian Angel and it forms a secondary personality within each one of us distinct from our Shadow Aspect. It is also alien to our normal ego and is architypal in nature.

The Shadow aspect of life energy forms around the 118th element at our root chakra. The Collective forms around the earth as the memory traces created by past living systems. We as pulses of awareness choose to re-enter previously created life times and work within those conditions to bring about change in ourselves and in the expansion of life into the universe.

That pulse of awareness we call the normal human ego. With human life we find our awareness able to travel in three possible worlds. Ordinary consciousness is associated as our pulse of awareness radiates outward into the present moment. This is our awareness of physical reality.

In dreams or meditation we use energy generated during the day to enter into the underworld of the Shadow or the Spiritual worlds to explore the future as it currently exists. We term these the Spiritual Planes and the Magickal Planes.

The Spiritual Planes encircle the earth in 118 layers with the element Hydrogen creating the outermost layer. Our awareness travels through astral cords or magnetic flux lines to explore these memory traces of what is meant to happen in the future.

At the earth's core the element 118 has seven electron rings and 118 electrons. The molecules of element 118 within our DNA is linked to the earth's core and our awatreness at times travels the seven underworlds created within the 118th element. This has been termed the magickal planes, the underworld and the seven hells.

OAK Magickal Training

The OAK system of magick recognizes 121 different primary magickal energies. Level one energy is "Absolute Light" or the "Photon State" and is the highest level possible. Level 121 is "Absolute Black" or the "void". These two levels are Cosmic power sources like the two poles of a battery. There is a tremendous voltage between these two levels and the magickal energy will take any pathway possible to go from one to the other.

Unlike past magickal traditions that used either "Absolute Light" or "Absolute Black" as power sources, OAK uses both at the same time. It is much like the difference between the electrical system in a flashlight that uses direct current and the electrical outlet in your home that uses alternating current at a much higher voltage. OAK uses alternating current between levels 1 and 121. The energy flow is in both directions.

Because of the two way energy flow, an OAK magician needs to balance and harmonize his or her higher self with their shadow self and integrate them under the rulership of the healthy human ego. In short, an OAK magician needs to be healthy physically, emotionally, and mentaly in order to handle the extreme energies they work with.

"Absolute Light" is considered as expansive and masculine or "God" energy. "Absolute Black" is considered an inward manifesting,gravitational type energy and is considered feminine or "Goddess" energy. These are the two primal power sources that drive the entire OAK magickal system. "Absolute Light" and "Absolute Black" have no moral attributes such as right or wrong. In fact, they are both considered extremely healthy and needed for life.

Level 2 is rotating magnetic field energy. This can be either clockwise or counterclock wise and either outward moving or inward moving, male or female. Level 2 energy actually links levels 1 and 121 together for the first time and creates and alternate route for the cosmic energy to flow. Rotating magnetic field energy is another name for the "magickal cone of power" that is generated during magickal work. The expansive male type of vortex is protective in nature and keeps out non harmonious influences. This is most commonly used and the deosal circle or clockwise. The counterclockwise or widdershins vortex is a manifesting vortex that aids in the physical manifesting of things. It however, mutates and alters intent to get results so it is not commonly used and considered dangerous.

Levels 3 through 120 are simply the non-physical energies of the physical elements Hydrogen, Helium, Lithium....ect. Each new level is created with the addition of one Proton (Light energy) and one electron ("Black energy). The non-physical levels 3 through 120 create the astral layers around the earth itself. The outermost layer is the Hydrogen layer, the next inner layer is the Helium layer and the next inner to that is the Lithium layer....ect. So in OAK we find exactly 118 layers in the astral world and each layer is associated with one physical element and in the non-physical aspect of that element.

The heaviest possible element has seven complete electron rings around it. Like the seven colors of the rainbow and the seven musical notes of the piano keyboard seven is very significant in nature.

In the process of evolving from Hydrogen as the first element down to the heaviest element one electron and one proton is added to create the next element. When an ring is complete a Noble Gas is formed. There are only two electrons possible in the first inner shell. This creates Helium. Thus Helium as a noble gas has the energies of both Hydrogen and Helium within it if you follow my thinking here. Helium and Hydrogen energies form the "Crown Chakra energies". These two energies together form the "Architypal world" in the astral as the highest spiritual planes.

In the same manner the non-physical aspects of Lithium, Beryllium, Boron, Carbon,Nitrogen, Oxygen, Flourine and the noble gas Neon form the "Third Eye" chakra energies. This happens in like manner for each of the remaining elements and chakras found in the human body.

OAK has found that this system of 121 types of magickal energy can explain most magickal systems now in use. The OAK chart of magickal correspondences shows how they overlap with each other.

OAK magickal training should begin by reading the three duality essays found in Magister Templi. Time should be taken at each descibed level to mentally associate a personal memory with the state of awareness described. Contrary to popular opinion all of us have experienced glimpses of each of these levels of awareness. By linking personal memories to these levels we begin the process of organizing our thoughts and memories. These essays also begin the process of balancing and integrating the "Higher Self" and the "Shadow Self" in a harmonious manner. This is similar to what Jungian Psychologists call the process of individuation. The reading and study of these three essays will furnish the first OAK initiation.

Next begin working with the Energy Ball meditation. This meditation when done correctly connects a person to both Levels 1 and 121 as Cosmic Power sources. Connecting to these Cosmic power sources greatly increases the flow of energy within the physical body. A greater flow of energy creates a greater magnetic or magickal ability to attract or repell. That greater ability to attract or repell is what we want. We also want to be able to control it.

The Energy Ball meditation also opens energy passages within the body and gets one used to experiencing and working with each of the chakra energies in the body and eliminates repressed emotional baggage and trouble spots that prevent us from moving forward. In short, it is a healing experience.

OAK 1st and 2nd Degree physical initiations help anchor the Cosmic power sources within the body. The 1st Degree anchors the "Absolute Light" energy and the 2nd Degree anchors the "Absolute Black" energy. In addition physical initiations create a parallel circuit effect because the initiator's energies are also going through you as well as your own and this lowers internal resistance and increases the energy flow within the body. Increasing the energy flow also increases the magnetic or magickal ability to repell or attract. Remember the increased ability to repell or attract is what we are looking for as well as learning how to control that ability.

That is why physical linking is such an important concept in OAK. It is not enough to become a 3rd Degree OAK member. Each 3rd Degree should try to physically link with every other 3rd degree possible to mingle the energies within him or herself and increase the magnetic or magickal ability to attract or repel.

In addition to physical initiations the student should invoke each energy level 1 through 121 into themselves in both a clockwise and counterclock wise fashion. The table of Magickal Correspondences can help have the proper associations like the proper tarot cards. I used the Golden Dawn Tarot Deck when I did it and voked the power of each appropriate card at the same time. It was long and time consuming but well worth it. Doing this increases the connection with the Cosmic power sources and the individual elemental level and makes the connection much stronger allowing more energy to flow and increasing the magickal ability to attract or repel. I went through each invocation quite rapidly perhaps doing 20 at a time.

Having done that the student should be pretty strong at the elemental level and begin work on developing the seven astral bodies out of the seven chakra energies. There are ideas on this in the "Developing Charisma " essays. These astral bodies are also developed naturally through our relationships with other people. The material on the Tarot attempts to relate this process of mutual soul growth through exchanging personal energies at various levels.

Finally and most importantly the student must develop their own personal paradigm or version of reality. They must get rid of any flaws and weak areas where energy escapes. Reading and studying the OAK materials, especially "Foundations" and the monograph series will assist in challenging and perfecting one's personal beliefs and helping them to become more effective in their personal life. Exposure to these concepts will alter one's life forever.

It is also hoped that the fully empowered 3rd Degree OAK member will choose to physically link together with other 3rd degree members for mutual empowerment.

The OAK process of magickal development is largely mechanical, if you do the work, the energy will do it's work on you. Experience in life gives us the ability to learn how to control our enhanced magickal abilities to attract those things we wish and repel those things we don't want.

Magickal Power and bions

When a crystal is struck physically or by light it may give off electricity. This is called the piezo-electric effect. Living cells give off bions when they are stressed or when they die. These bions are small particles of astral energy created from the breakdown of chemicals within the living system.

Emotional energy is one form of bion but mental energy, spiritual energy, sexual energy and physical energy are all forms of bions produced by the human body. Each chakra center creates and functions with it's own type of bion associated with specific organs of the body. Bions don't really have their own energy. They are astral creations and draw energy from physical substances. They also draw energy from light and from the earth.

Emotions are largely produced by the digestive system in the breakdown of nutrients to create energy. Mental energy is generated from the firing of nerve synapses and depletes the body of potassium and sodium. We experience the movement of bions within the body as emotions and other types of astral energy including thought. The human body creates spiritual, mental,emotional, sexual and physical energy through the chemical breakdown of compound molecules and cellular tissue.

Any type of magickal energy depletes the body of vital nutrients. The energy is created from the breakdown of chemical bonds in molecules stored within the cells in the body. This is why many people are so exhausted after magickal workings. Their physical body has been doing all of the work. The cells are releasing the energy as bions. There are others sources of bions as well in the environment.

Burning incense, candles, or heating potions do the same thing and create bions that circulate in the room adding catalyst to the magickal working. Wilhelm Riech observed that the destruction of organic matter created bions and Orgone energy.

He also observed that bions and Orgone energy clustered around living things, especially plants. These bions could be collected and their effects would be more intense. The effect of Orgone energy, bions or magickal energy is the same. It acts as an accelerant and speeds up or ages what ever it comes in contact with. It will cause a chemical reaction to happen more quickly. It will cause radioactive material to decay more rapidly. It will find the weak spot or illness and attack it. It uses things up and the physical body needs to replace the depeleted material.

At first there is a toxic quality to working with bions and astral energy. As the body becomes more efficient at replacing its energy reserves the toxic effect goes away and is replaced by a vitality. The vitality is increased magnetism as the physical body draws more nutrients to itself and expells toxins more easily and rapidly. Increased vitality also increases the available energy stored within the body to be used at will.

In healthy people the magickal practitioner seems younger because new fresh nutrients are being drawn into the body at a faster rate than normal and waste material is effectively eliminated easily and quickly. Bions act as a tonic to keep the body healthy by making everything function at an optimum level.

The body is created to act like a sponge strongly attracting and drawing in what it needs and forcibly ejecting toxins. It needs to be emptied and it needs to be filled up again. Maximum health can be attained through hard work and exercise on a daily basis.

In magickal work it speeds up the process of the attainment of some desired object or goal. In protective magick it can neutralize toxic energy by aging it until it becomes harmless. In this manner we can see that bions drain stored energy from physical objects and people to maintain their own existence.

Bions will accumulate in certain objects as well as in physical bodies. At other times they float randomly near the earth's surface carried by the water and wind. Bions are astral formations capable of sustaining themselves by drawing energy from light and the breakdown of chemical compounds as well as drawing energy from the earth.

In practical terms the quantity of bions we have available for magickal use determines the voltage and charge of our available magickal energy. The type of bions determines the type of magick we will be able to perform.

Bions will simply float around us as an emotional or astral cloud unless we have an astral body developed to control and direct the flow of bions. Without an astral body we can not control these bions and make use of them. The exception to this is that our Shadow and our HGA are fully functional and independent entities with astral bodies. In the beginning it is either one of these that will make use of our magickal energy. This is why an important magickal task is to integrate our Shadow or HGA.

The Boundary Between Physical and Astral

The secret of astral vs physical first shows up at the cellular level. Somehow there is a guiding intelligence and organizational awareness surrounding each living cell. This organizing and guiding intelligence remains even when new neutrients pass into the cell and waste materials pass out.

What this means metaphysically is that something exists independent of raw physical matter. It also has the ability to detach from old matter and attatch to new matter. While the cell lives this is the vital life force and the aura that surrounds it. When the cell dies this aura or "ghost" moves on and is attracted to another living cell. It assists this new cell to follow its old behaviors.

In these two examples we find both living astral entities and spirit or ghost astral entities or organizing intelligences.

The living astral intelligence has the sole purpose of keeping the individual organism alive. It is created from the vital life force of living things and ultimately creates the "Shadow" aspect or "Power Animal". It is worth noting that this "Shadow" of vital life force can transfer itself from one cell to another in order to remain alive. In occult terminology a shaman's Shadow can be transmitted to an apprentice that is properly trained. The Shadow exists in the astral as living "life energy".

Spirit or ghost organizing intelligences move more easily from one organism to another. They form the group soul of a species and will sacrifice the individual for the good of the collective. This holistic organizing intelligence seeks to maintain the entire ecosystem in balance so it can sustain life permanently.
It contains the wisdom of what has gone before and offers a path for new life to follow. In the individual this creates the "Holy Guardian Angel" aspect.

As cellular life evolved into organisms they split into male and female. The rudimentary Holy Guardian Angel aspect attached itself to male organisms and the Shadow aspect attached to female organisms. The task of the HGA was to keep the ecosystem balanced and the task of the Shadow was to create new life.

In todays world things have evolved to the point where we find the HGA and the Shadow aspects in both males and females equally. One aspect will be dominant and the other will be dormant waiting to be developed. Biblical terminology has called those with the HGA dominant "Sons and daughters of God" and those with the Shadow dominant "Sons and daughters of Man".

Priest, Ruler, Warrior and Healer

In other material I've covered the first four types of cellular life. These were each created from one of the four parts of sine wave energy.

The first type of life was vegetable life, the second animal life, the third reptile life and the final type of cell formed the origins of insect life. In living organisms these form the basis of the respiratory system(plant),circulatory system(animal),nervous system(reptile) and the disgestive system(insect).

These four types of life are symbolized as the four Archangels that stand before the throne of God. Each one of us has a soul that originated from one of these four Architypes.

Ancient wisdom states we belong to one of these four groups and must find our own soul group. In the caste system these are the castes of Priest, Ruler, Warrior and Healer.

The Priest is absorbed in our connection with light and he or she channels that energy to the rest of the world. It is the Priest that attains cosmic consciousness and learns the will of God and Goddess. He will give needed council to the ruler as needed.

The Ruler is absorbed in the administrative tasks of the human collective. She organizes and directs needed activity and discipines wrongful actions. She represents the hierarchy within the human race. This is especially true of a Matriarchal system.

The Warrior serves the Ruler and carries out her will in all things. His aggression and courage ensure that her will is supreme. He is the Rulers mate and his fearocity matched her own. His is the will to live and survive no matter what. He does what needs to be done.

The Healer is today's scientist and doctor. She uses technology to heal the world and the human race. It is her task to heal the mess the other three create and form a united symbiotic system out of them all. She completes the circle of life even as the Ruler creates it.

In terms of the Holy Guardian Angel and the Shadow the Priest finds its Shadow in the Warrior and the Ruler finds her Shadow in the Healer and vice versa. The Warrior finds his shadow in the Priest and the Healer finds her Shadow in the Ruler.

In becoming complete each soul must become either Priest/Warrior or Ruler/Healer. They will find their soulmate in the others. The Priest/Warrior will find his soulmate in the Ruler/Healer and she will find him when the time is right.

The first step is to find what soul group you belong to and perfect that training and skill. Then connect with your Shadow aspect and develop that as well. This is the underlying basis of all occult and metaphysical literature.

Submission to the Shadow

Submission to the Shadow or Etheric Double or Power Animal is very different than submission to your HGA. For one thing instead of the death of the ego you confront the loss of your humanity. You become a human animal for a time at least.

For me first contact came as an act of will. I willed the point of my awareness to plunge as deeply into the blackness as possible. It was like falling into a pit or being sucked into a black hole. There was fear of what I might encounter but not of loosing who I was. We might say the first step in submission to the Shadow is the intentional act of falling into darkness.

Like an air bubble in the water you can't stay there and come back up. When you come back up you bring an attatchment of dark energy with you and raise it up as high as you can to connect it with the light. We might say the second step is raising the black energy up into us as high as possible in an effort to fill us with it.

I had a vivid dream over ten years ago of standing on the shore of a mighty ocean fishing. I caught this huge monster that was all teeth and pulled it up onto the shore. As it came onto the shore I realized that I could control it through the line that connected us together. I called it my "alligator puppy". Somehow I knew that it was not my enemy but my friend and I would need it to fight my battles and to protect me from harm. We might say the third step is the realization our Shadow is not a monster but a friend with the sacred task of protecting us from harm.

My "alligator puppy" was not my Shadow but a shadow aspect that was integrated. I was learning to live and exist in the same astral world as my Shadow. This "alligator puppy" was in competition with my Shadow.

Our shadow is buried under our twisted fears and distorted thinking. Everything evil and unclean is thrown on top of it. Everything we hate and despise as not us is falsely thrust upon our Shadow. The shadow and the black energy is not evil. It is sacred and pure. It is the blackness of the womb before birth. It is the blackness of the earth that gives life. We might say the fourth step is the purification of our black energy.

As we begin to use our own black energy others send their black "shit" energy our way as well. We must learn to transmute and detoxify any type of black energy so we can use it as we wish. This means becoming immune to the toxic effects of other peoples black energy. We might say this period is one of attracting bad things and learning to cope with them.

Developing other astral bodies was a key part in the submision to the shadow. Every astral body I developed over several years was fought over astrally with a giant serpent or dragon. For a long time I thought the serpent was an alien life form. Later I came to realize it was my true Shadow. It was my task to control it and it didn't want to be controlled.

Only after all seven astral bodies were fully developed would the final integration of the Shadow take place. I opened a portal where my feet touched the earth and a glowing yellow greenish light came forth. I lifted the greenish light and surrounded myself in it like a cocoon. It sealed me inside like an egg. It was tough and rubbery and pulled my astral bodies down into the earth and intensified my earth connection.

Many times I would raise energy out of the earth and surround myself in the blackness. More importantly I did Russian Kettlebell exercises. The Shadow is created out of physical energies not sexual or emotional energies. The only way to integrate the Shadow is to generate lots of physical energy through hard physical exertions.

When the integration finally happened I was intoxicated with the power I felt around me. My spirit was walking in the underworld of the Shaman. I was able to function in the world of Voodoo and reconnect with my ancestors. The mighty serpent had become my "soulmate" and was constantly at my side.

As time went on my Shadow or power animal appeared to be evolving to become more human. I can't really say when the integration happened but I can say that I went a bit crazy. I gave away everything I owned and moved to Washington DC to live with a woman I had only met once. I knew that I was strong enough to start my life over from scratch and I did.

People around me felt the black earth energy and were afraid of me. They thought I had gone crazy or "evil". Just as quickly my life normalized and I moved back to Minnesota to rebuild my life as a new person. The implications of integrating my Shadow are new and I'm still learning as things happen. What I can say is that the longing for an earth connection and the black energy has resulted in a polarity shift and my soul now seeks the light as it so recently craved the darkness.

I have become rooted in the energy of the earth as firmly as a giant OAK tree. I do not doubt the strength of this connection.

I feel the dark energy rising and bringing its own influence and insight into my life. For the first time in ten years I am reading philosophical literature and developing a modern magickal paradigm. This is not head tripping but something much more real and immediate that works. It is connected to the earth.

My soul no longer attracts "black energy" and negative events. Good things are happening and my ability to draw positive things and manifest them physically is the strongest it has ever been in my life.

I feel the black swirl around me at times in a comforting way that is very hard to describe. I am learning to trust in its strength. I am feeling the magick.

Submission to the Holy Guardian Angel

As this new eon progresses both secondary personalities, the HGA and the Shadow will become increasingly active. A great increase in auditory and visual halucinations can be expected. For the Holy Guardian Angel this means visions from God or Jesus or other religious figures.

If you can't integrate the HGA expect to hear and see it more and more along with religious and spiritual experiences. This will act to polarize the world population even more along religous vs materialist lines.

There is no way to forcast how one might experience contact with the HGA in their lives. My own experience integrating my HGA started at age fourteen and continued gradually to the age of forty. Things will happen much more quickly in today's world.

At age fourteen I my conscience awoke. This was a religious experience for me since I reached a point where I could no longer stand myself and who I was becoming. What did it matter if God forgave me when I couldn't forgive myself? Aligning my life to be in harmony with my conscience was the first major step in submission to the HGA. "Not my will but Thy will be done". We might say this is the first step in submission to the HGA.

This alignment was not complete because I still attempted to stay within the confines of my religious upbringing. I began Rosicrucian studies at age eighteen and was introduced to advanced philosophical concepts like reincarnation and the symbolic, not literal meaning of the bible. Truth came from the Christ Spirit within my heart. I needed to follow an inner path and not a "Christian" one. The external church held no answers. We might say the second step in submission to the HGA is to forsake tradition and external guidance to listen only to the still small voice of the Master Within that speaks through our hearts.

Then followed twenty years of intense study and the formulation of a paradigm or complete belief system. My belief system was created out of "illuminations" or flashes of insight. These communications from the HGA gradually formed a comprehensible and complete paradigm or personal belief system. We might say the third step in submission to the HGA is "Illumination" and personal insight into the reality of nature and life. This is termed the knowledge and conversation with the HGA.

Then followed a period of forsaking the physical world and neglecting the realities of life. As the discrepancy between normal life and the inner vision became more pronounced there was a fear that I might be going insane. This mental turmoil has been termed the death of the ego. My mind was torn between a longing to surrender myself to the HGA and desperately trying to keep rational and deal with daily living. We might say the fourth step in submission to the HGA is going insane and believing in it and ignoring physical reality.

Total submission is a form of suicide. Things get so bad you don't care anymore and simply want to dissolve yourself into the light until there is nothing left. There is a tremendous pull toward the light and it becomes everything as you try to extinquish self into nothingness. There is a feeling of intense relief and love as the light embraces you and you merge for the first time. This has been called "Crossing the Greaty Abyss". We might say the fifth step in submission to the HGA is dissolving yourself momentarily into the light and becoming one with the universe.

With practice it gets easier and easier to dissolve our awareness into nothingness and the light. We cross the Great Abyss with greater frequency and ease until one day there is a permanent change and our normal awareness merges with the light in a permanent manner. This is the point where we have integrated our HGA. We exist inside of our HGA and sense it surrounding us as an extension of who we are. We might say the sixth step in submission to the HGA is being absorbed fully by the HGA and a radical shift of awareness termed Cosmic Conciousness.

This is not enough for us and we continue striving for more light. We miss the feeling of being dissolved. It's not happening anymore. As hard as we try it is not possible to stay dissolved. As soon as Will lets up we find ourselves outside of the Light once more. Our soul can not go any further in that direction. We can experience momentary union when we strive for it but it is gone as soon as we let up. There is a polarity switch taking place and we can feel our thought processes dropping back down into the mental levels. We are experiencing the "Luciferian Fall" and plunging back toward the earth. One might say the seventh final step in submission to the HGA is this reversal of polarity and plunge back toward the earth.

The Fetch, Thought Forms and Secondary Personalities

Of the seven possible astral bodies we are born with both the highest and the lowest already activated and functioning. In the last post I termed the Highest astral body the Holy Guardian Angel and the Lowest astral body the Shadow.

Any activated astral body creates a secondary personality. This means we are born with two secondary personalities in addition to our normal ego awareness as it develops. These are literally the angel and devil that sit on our shoulders whispering and tempting us. It is not coincidence that schizophrenia results when the normal ego is weak and the "Christ" aspect or the "Devil" aspect attempt to take over our physical bodies.

These two secondary personalities are very important and each connects to a major cosmic power source. The "Christ" aspect or Holy Guardian Angel is linked to Spiritual Photon Energy. It can draw unlimited power from the cosmic and use it to create new things. It is the divine power of light and love. When we connect and integrate this secondary personality we tap into the spiritual power resources of the cosmic itself. It is created from two bits of awareness and is architypal in nature consisting of perceptions of self evident reality.

The "Devil" aspect or Shadow is linked to Earth energy. It can draw unlimited energy from the earth to manifest things physically. This is the Cosmic energy of manifestation. When we tap into this power source we are given dominion and power to physically manifest whatever we wish. This secondary personality is created from thirty two bits of awareness and deals with organic awareness and sensuality.

The task of the mystic is to contact the Holy Guardian Angel and integrate it successfully into normal ego awareness. If the normal ego is not strong enough the mystic will loose touch with reality and become absorbed into the secondary personality. He or she will think they are Jesus or the Virgin Mary. Their normal ego can not withstand the cosmic energies that pour through the Holy Guardian Angel.

The task of the Magician is to contact the Shadow or "Animal Totem" and integrate it successfully into normal ego awareness. If the normal ego is not strong enough the magician will loose touch with reality and become absorbed into the secondary personality. He or she will become "possessed" by their "Demon". The normal ego can not withstand the powerful earth energies that surge through the Shadow.

Of the 118 bits of awareness possible thirty four are already taken at birth and not available to us. That leave us with 84 bits of awareness to develop and integrate as our "normal Ego". Even these will not integrate smoothly but form five separate astral bodies and secondary personalities. The only thing we have going for us is that these are not even developed but dormant. As we develop them we can also integrate them into an united personality.

Each bit of awareness can create thought forms or fetches. This is an advanced magickal practice in one sense but ordinary in another sense. When you are trying to remember something and can't you are really sending out mental energy as a thought form or fetch. It was created to bring back that memory or bit of information you desired. Later some time during the day or even the next day when you are busy doing something else you suddenly remember what it was. The fetch returned with the desired information. This common phenomenon is what magickal thought forms and fetches are really about. It is simply done in a deliberate manner with different types of energies and astral bodies.

It is important the fetch or thoughtform be absorbed back into your body when it returns or it will turn against you and seek to become an independent secondary personality with a life and awareness of its own. The Holy Guardian Angel and the Shadow are both advanced thoughtforms that have complete astral bodies and their own life force that keeps them alive. This is why it is so dangerous to integrate them into the normal ego. Each one is more vital and powerful than the normal ego and absorbs it at first.

The absorbing of the normal ego is the death of the ego and the most frightening thing we can experience. In metaphysical literature there is a battle for the soul or normal ego. Both the Holy Guardian Angel and the Shadow are in a fierce combat trying to gain control over it.

The Shadow and the Holy Guardian Angel

I made some errors in the last couple posts and need to clarify the seven rings that form around atoms and create the sevel astral bodies and the seven astral worlds. There are 118 elements found in nature and each one has it's own special energy and represents a particular sensory input.

Spiritual Planes

This is the innermost electron ring formed from the energies of Hydrogen and Helium. Two electrons or bits of awareness complete this inner shell and form this architypal astral body. This is the level of the Holy Guardian Angel.

Abstract Mental Planes

This is the second electron ring and eight elements or energies complete this series of mental energies.

Concrete Mental Planes

This is the third electron ring and eight elements or energies complete this series of mental energies.

Upper Emotional Planes

This is the forth electron ring and eighteen elements or energies complete this series of emotional energies.

Lower Emotional Planes

This is the fifth electron ring and eighteen elements or energies complete this series of emotional energies.

Etheric Planes

This is the sixth electron ring and thirty two elements or energies complete this series of physical sensory energies.

Elemental Planes

This is the seventh and last electron ring and thirty two elements or energies complete this series of subconcious sensory energies. This is the level of the "etheric double" or "Shadow".

These seven rings or shells create the seven astral planes or worlds surrounding the earth, the seven astral bodies surrounding the physical body and represent a total of 118 types of sensory awareness. These are divided into spiritual, mental, emotional and physical sensations that we can be aware of. Occult literature terms these energies Fire for Spiritual, Air for Mental, Water for Emotional and Earth for Physical.

The "Shadow" and "Holy Guardian Angel" exist as separate intelligences. They are fully activated astral bodies that act on their own accord as independent entities alien to our normal waking awareness. We percieve them as not us but separate from us until we integrate them. The process of integrating the HGA and the Shadow is the Great Work of alchemical literature.

The HGA and the Shadow are separated from us by two great abysses. There is a higher abyss that separates us from our HGA and a lower abyss that separates us from our Shadow. These two intelligences have been stylized in cartoons as an angel that sits on one shoulder and a devil that sits on the other whispering into our ears. Classically each is in a struggle to win our soul or normal awareness.

The HGA has an astral body created out of only two bits of awareness and is architypal in nature. There is only a human shaped body created out of light. We can also call this our Higher Self. This astral body feels much like a human shaped balloon and does not have physical, emotional, or even mental characteristics. What it does have is self evident perception of the entire universe and our place within it. This intelligence knows what is true and what is not true. The integration of our HGA gives us Cosmic Consciousness or Christ consciousness. It is associated with the still small voice of our conscience.

The Shadow has an astral body created out of thirty two bits of sensory awareness and is rich and sensual in nature. It forms both our subconscious awareness and our etheric double or "evil twin". This intelligence keeps our physical body alive in any way it can. It is this astral body that manifests physical results. When we integrate this astral body we gain the magickal power to physically manifest things in our lives.

Until we cross the Upper or Lower Abyss we remain ruled by our "false ego". Our false ego is our sense of self and lives separate from the HGA and Shadow. The true human ego occurs only with the integration of both HGA and Shadow aspects.

The Astral Planes-Etheric Double

The two outermost electron rings possible for an atom each have 32 electrons they can hold. This is much more than any of the previous inner electron rings or shells. That means it takes 32 bits of awareness or soul fragments to complete each of these astral bodies. For most of us this is the work of a lifetime or it may never happen.

The inner of these two shells creates what is called the etheric body and the outer final shell creates what is called the elemental body. The etheric body contains bits of awareness and reflects a full range of sensory abilities within dreams like reading, writing and smell, hearing and texture. Sensations like taste and pain are still absent for the most part. They belong to the elemental body and the etheric double.

The etheric planes are the classic astral planes of magickal workings. Most magick takes place on the etheric planes and alters them in some way that will affect physical events before they happen.

In the process of developing our astral bodies there are two paths to follow. The magickal path works to develop the 32 bits of awareness that create the etheric body and then integrate it with the etheric double. This means trying to develop 32 bits of awareness through the generation and accumulation of physical energy for the etheric body and then 32 bits more to free the elemental body and integrate the etheric double. The most common means of developing these bodies is through hard physical exercise and sexual activity.

This path works from the bottom upwards and has much in common with the martial arts. It's strength is the ability to manifest physical events. Its weakness is the extremes of both pain and pleasure must be physically experienced. You will experience that which you fear the most as well as that which you desire the most. Because everything operates at such near physical levels many toxic or negative factors can not be safely neutralized. This is why magickal adepts seek to develop the higher astral bodies as well.

The mystical path works from the top downward activating the innermost spiritual shell first. This shell has only two bits of awareness as mentioned before. Then the second and third shells or mental bodies are created. Each of those has 8 bits of awareness or soul fragments. In this manner the higher astral bodies are developed before the lower ones are. The fourth and fifth astral bodies or emotional bodies each are created out of sixteen bits of awareness or soul fragments. This can take a life time or more as well to achieve. Physical effort and vitality are channeled upwards to activate these astral bodies.

The strength of this path is an invulnerabilty that neutralizes the worst toxins and negative factors long before they manifest physically. Nothing can hurt this adept significantly. They are able to transmute negative energy and make it work in positive ways. The weakness of this path is an inability to physically manifest desires in real life. The lower astral levels govern physical events before they happen and this adept is not strong at these levels. That is why these adepts constantly try to become stronger at the earth levels.

What we call our physical body is really the elemental body and only separates from the physical body at death or in rare circumstances. These bits of awareness form our physical senses as we understand them. As these bits of awareness are developed and become free to leave the physical body they form what is called the etheric double or "evil twin".

The integration and mastery of this etheric double grants us the ability to have normal physical perceptions at the lowest levels of the astral planes and travel the physical earth in out of body experiences. We do this when we integrate our "shadow". There have been many instances recorded of this type of classic astral projection. In reality we can project with any of the seven astral bodies if they have been developed correctly.

The Astral Planes-The Emotional Planes

The inner circle of electrons or bits of awareness contain two particles and create the archetypal world. The 2nd and 3rd rings or shells contain 16 bits of awareness and create the mental planes as we mentioned in the last post.

It is the 4th and 5th electron rings or shells that create what we commonly call astral bodies and astral worlds. That is because these are created out of emotional energy and the astral planes are associated with emotional energy. Each of these rings has a possible 36 electrons or bits of awareness before it is complete. The 4th shell is termed the Upper Emotional Plane. The 5th shell is termed the Lower Emotional Plane.

These planes are much richer and detailed than the 1st,2nd or 3rd shells because they offer so much more sensory detail. In the human body these are centered at the heart Chakra and Solar Plexus Chakra respectively. They form the Upper Emotional astral body and the Lower Emotional astral body.

The Upper Emotional body involves sensations of love and pleasure as well as their absence. The Lower Emotional body involves organic and cellular awareness including hunger, fear and pain. It also involves mastery over those things.

We develop each astral body by physically generating the needed energy to create bits of awareness or soul particles that will fill each ring or shell.

We can pick the astral world we choose to work within. We can choose spiritual energy through prayer and meditation or we can choose the mental worlds through philosophy and words. They all function in the same manner. First we generate the appropriate energy and when enough is generated one bit of awareness is formed and creates one soul fragment.

That first bit of awareness has no other bits or soul fragments to compare itself with so there is the subjective experience of "spiritual light" or "illumination". The addition of the 2nd soul fragment brings an archetypal awareness into that astral plane. Full mastery of that astral plane only comes when the astral ring or shell is complete.

In the astral these emotional energies form separate layers around the earth that are richly populated with the astral representations of living and non-living things. It is in the emotional planes that most dreams take place. The energy we have accumulated through the day lifts our astral bodies out of our phyical bodies and into the astral worlds of dreams where the energy is discharged through the act of dreaming.

The Astral Planes-The Mental Planes

Last time I mentioned how Hydrogen and Helium combine in the astral as two bits of awareness or sensory inputs to form the Architypal Spiritual planes. This level is limited in depth and often appears as black and white because it only has two elements to create with.

I also mentioned how the astral body at this level is human shaped but like a balloon with no defining characteristics or depth.

Physicsl science tells us that the atom can have up to seven rings of orbiting electrons around it. This means seven shells or astral bodies are possible. The inner most astral body is created from two bits of awareness as we have already mentioned. Let's move on to the next electron rings.

The second and third shells or rings around the nucleus of an atom each contain a possible 8 electrons or bits of awareness. It takes eight bits of awareness to create an astral body in each of these astral planes. There are two mental planes and each is essentially visual in nature.

These astral planes are the Abstract Mental Astral Plane and the Concrete Mental Astral Plane respectively. The mental planes have more detail than the spiritual plane but not as much detail or sensory data as the emotional planes.

The Abstract Mental Plane consists of images too complex to easily place into words. We experience this world through the images of our imagination. This is also the realm of philosophical thought and reasoning. We leave our physical body when we journey in this astral plane.

A good example of this is when you become lost in a good book and are not aware of what is going around you.

The Concrete Mental Plane consists of words and the lower ego or self awareness. This is where we process much of our sensory data and make meaning of it. This is where we spend most of our waking life.

Astral bodies at these levels lack feeling and emotion. There is a detatched aspect that allows us to observe what is going on around us and not get caught up in it. The imagery is rich and detailed. These astral planes seem very much like dreams that lack emotional content.

We gain access to the Spiritual plane through the Crown Chakra. Access to the Abstract Mental plane is through the Third Eye Chakra. Access to the Concrete Mental plane is through the Throat Chakra.

Our awareness can flow out of each of these openings and travel through the astral cords/magnetic field lines or ley lines that surround the earth. The Body of Light can only travel through those cords associated with the elements Hydrogen and Helium. Likewise for the other Mental Bodies. They can only travel in their own specific worlds. You can't bring emotions into the mental planes. They can't exist there.

The flip side of this is that the Body of Light can travel the lower planes in a limited manner and pickup black and white detail. It can get a basic grasp of what is going on. The same holds true for the mental bodies. They can be integrated into the emotional realms but with limited sensory details. This is how we objectively gain awareness of our emotional nature and begin to work with it.

The Astral Planes-Spiritual Planes

We can continue the metaphor of the atom and the 118 possible electrons that circle it. Each of the 118 fragments of awareness gives a specific sensory detail that adds richness to our perception of the world.

These electrons form rings or shells around the nucleus of the atom. The two first electrons form the first ring or shell and create the elements hydrogen and helium. Using this as a metaphor for soul development the first bit of awareness possible is the hydrogen awareness. One bit of awareness is unity and only manifests to us as the spiritual experience of unity and light. You can't do much with one bit of awareness because it has nothing to work with.

The addition of the second bit of awareness or helium awareness creates architypal reality. The two bits of awareness work together like black and white to create images and three dimensional forms. These bits of awareness create the highest astral world and the highest astral body. This is the source of the soul. The human astral body at this level is human shaped with no distinct features much like a balloon. It is just light in human form. Occulists call this the "body of Light". It is formed from the energies of the crown chakra and forms a ball of light or halo about two inches above the top of the head.

Two bits of awareness is all that the first inner shell can hold. It is complete and seals itself against all the rest. This barrier is what creates the "Great Abyss" of occult literature. When integrated into the personality these two bits of awareness form the "body of light" and give "Christ Consciousness" or "Cosmic Consciousness". This is also the level of unity and the resolution of paradox where all things come together in a form of self evident truth.

These two bits of awareness are Spiritual energys and Spiritual forms of consciousness that can be developed. There is also an astral world created out of these elements that exists in the outer atmosphere of the earth. This astral world is architypal and consists of magnetic flux lines or tubes that electrons travel through. The human "Body of Light" can also travel through these tubes.

The Astral Planes-Soul Fragments

Continuing the atom metaphor we can think of the human body and soul as a single atom. The physical body is the nucleus and the soul or astral body is the electron cloud or aura that surrounds it.

The nucleus of the atom consists of protons and neutrons while the electron cloud consists of only free electrons. Neutrons are protons and electrons combined together with a neutral electrical charge. Protons carry a positive electrical charge. If we apply this metaphor to the physical body we may consider nerve energy as the electrons moving through pathways within the physical body. Cells of the physical organism can be seen as capacitors or batteries that store and discharge energy. They also act to filter and purify energy and transform it into other types of energy.

Modern medicine and modern science deal with the nucleus of the human body and do not recognise the electron cloud, aura or soul as it is often called. They focus completely upon the nerve energy within the physical body and not the energy that circulates through the astral cords or magnetic flux lines surrounding it.

Using a different metaphor they mistake the physical brain and the firing of nerve synapses for awareness. A computer can imitate intelligence and be interactive. Still it is not the physical computer that is interactive. It is the program and software that is interactive. What I'm getting at here is that awareness and the ability to interact lies in the software/aura/soul and not in the computer/brain/physical body.

The human brain is a transformer of energy and acts like a computer. It is the hard ware but not the software. The software of awareness and human thought lie in the astral planes.

Returning to our metaphor of the atom each atom has one or more electrons that circle around it. A new element is created with the addition of an electron and a proton. In the physical universe there are 118 elements possible. That means the heaviest element has 118 electrons circling the nucleus according to the general field theory of Dewey Larson.

The human soul was once a photon and evolved through the stages of mineral and plant life before it became human. Each human soul is an advanced life form and has 118 bits of awareness or types of awareness.

These 118 bits of awareness are soul fragments and our task is to integrate all 118 soul fragments into one integrated whole. Each fragment or electron has its own awareness and deals with a particular type of energy or element of life. It is a perception or sensory input that interacts with the rest of our world.

The Astral Planes-The Soul

If we continue the metaphor of the atom and the electron cloud that surrounds it we can generalize to include the soul and its development.

The soul is a spark of awareness like an electron. It once was an electron and a spark of light. Through the eons the spark of awareness grew more complex and its awareness included more things.

First it was simply a spark of divine light pulsating outward as a photon and then returning to source as an electron. That was before it started to rotate.

Think of the electron and the electron cloud that surrounds the atom. The cloud is made up of magnetic flux lines or astral cords that create the pathways for the electron to travel through. Perhaps it might help to think of these astral cords as tubes because that is more like what they really are.

They are tubes that the electron goes through. These tubes surround the earth and create its magnetic field or aura. These tubes also surround each one of us and create our aura. Our awareness travels like electrons through these tubes at the speed of light. As our awareness or soul travels through these tubes we have the sensation of being aware of our physical bodies.

The soul is a complex electron that has evolved into a complex plasma like energy that travels through the tubes or astral cords that surround our physical bodies. It can also be developed to the point it can leave our physical bodies and travel through the tubes surrounding the earth and the tubes surrounding other people.

First the soul can travel only through the tubes that surround the physical body. It only has an awareness of the physical body except at night when it escapes while we are sleeping. In dreams it travels through the tubes that surround the earth. These nightly journeys are astral travels.

The Astral Planes-the atom

Just what exactly are the astral planes anyway? You hear the phrase over and over. You read about the astral planes in books. Are people even talking about the same thing when they use the word? It is a certainty that they are not. The subject of the astral planes is so confusing that even the experts disagree.

What I am going to do is explain the astral planes in a very specific and scientific perspective that is far more comprehensive and accurate than anyone else I know of. This is possible using the general field theory of the late Dewey Larson. The astral planes are scientific and exist in a concrete and scientific way. They operate in very specific ways and follow very specific universal laws of nature.

This subject will be addressed in stages until it is explored thoroughly through the use of metaphor. Each metaphor will introduce an element of the astral planes and place it in a specific context. Other metaphors will add to the basic understanding until the astral planes can be intuited in their completeness.

The first metaphor is that of an atom. The atom exists as heavy particles in the center called protons and neutrons circled by electrons that form an electron cloud and create the outer physical boundary of the atom.

The electron cloud is another name for the tracks or paths the electrons follow as they orbit the nucleus of the atom. These tracks or paths can also be called magnetic flux lines or astral cords. Astral cords are magnetic flux lines and electrons travel through them at the speed of light.

The electron cloud is the aura of the atom. The aura of the physical body is the electron cloud that surrounds the physical body. This is the magnetic field energy of the physical body and created out of magnetic flux lines. The aura of planet earth is called the astral planes. It is created out of the earth's magnetic field energies and consists of magnetic flux lines or ley lines as they are sometimes called.

These metaphors are exact. The so called astral planes are not planes but layers of magnetic flux lines or astral cords packed tightly together and interconnected. They are pathways that exist for electrons to travel.

Electrons and human awareness travel these pathways. Our souls are complex photons or divine sparks of light. We might call them electrons. Simple awareness is a point of light or an electron. Each one of us is a star! We can send our awareness as a point of light or energy out beyond our physical bodies to travel within the electron clouds of other people or of the earth itself. This is the root of psychic phenomenon.

The development of our "star" into astral bodies creates awareness that can travel outside of our physical bodies. This is the goal of magickal development.

Left Hand vs Right Hand Paths

Magickal Initiation involves the gradual development of the soul and its natural powers. The soul consists of several different types of energy. These are Abstract Spiritual (unity),Concrete Spiritual (intuitive),Abstract Mental (philosophical),Concrete Mental (perceptive),Upper Emotional (love),Lower Emotional (Anger),Sexual (sexuality), Physical (competency).

To become a complete person each of these energies and areas must be fully developed through intense effort and the generation of that particular type of energy. This process is mechanical and cumulative in nature. Once a specific type of energy is fully developed an astral body is created out of that energy and the powers of that energy are available.

Activity then progresses to the next level of development automatically.

In this respect the Left Hand Path and the Right Hand Path follow similar methods and strive toward a common goal. The common goal is the synthesis of all these energies into an integrated healthy individual with an immortal soul that will carry on beyond the death of the physical body.

The differences between these paths are profound. The Right Hand Path connects with spiritual energy and works from the top downward in mystical experiences or illuminations. It involves condensing spiritual energy gradually into physical energy. If you think about something long enough you will become emotional about it. If you become emotional enough about something you will be compelled to act upon those feelings. This describes the method used and includes prayer and meditation.

The Hallmark of the Right Hand Path is the integrity of the individual ego. You always remain yourself even though who you are may change drastically as you incorporate new beliefs and experiences. This path takes much longer and has difficulty with physical manifestations. Its focus is inner personal transformation and integration with the universe by adaptation.

The Left Hand Path connects with physical energy and works with physical competency upwards to the spiritual levels. The traditional martial arts are examples of this type of training.

The Hallmark of the Left Hand Path is physical manifestation through physical competency. You do what ever it takes to make things manifest even if those things go against your inner nature. There is always a sense of being compromised as you loose part of who you are to become who you want to be. The focus is to manifest physical change through acts of will.

At the highest levels a Master of the Right Hand Path will assist all students to become unique individuals. He will help them collectively through the formation of groups.

A Master of the Left Hand Path will choose one student to transfer his power to and at the death of his physical body will attempt to "possess" the physical body of his chosen student. He will form groups to find the appropriate vehicle.

10th Degree Magickal Initiation

The 10th degree is that of a King or Queen. This implies they become the leaders or rulers of the magickal order they belong to. This degree is the highest degree that has meaning within an organization.

There is more to it than this because they become in a very real sense the source of the magickal power and current that flows through the membership. Without them and their energy the membership would fall apart.

Seen in this context the 10th Degree Adept is someone that has gathered a following and inspired them to continue in the tradition they are being taught. They have attained both personal energy and group energy. The membership believes in them and in what they can do. This is a very powerful position. It is also a position that can be easily abused if the Adept did not truely earn their grade.

The Art of Magick

This secret is the true key to magick and the ability to impose one's will upon nature. In the beginning magickal practice involves internal and personal change. It does not realistically affect external reality. This is termed the "Lesser Work" and involves the integration and healing of the ego into a solid healthy unit.

The generation of energy especially sexual energy in the correct manner pools inside a person and grows into a solid core of pure energy and vitality. As it does this it knocks repressed energy loose and activates buried psychological issues and trauma by bringing them into awareness. This might also bring psychotic behaviors if done improperly. That is why working with sexual energy in a magickal manner brings so many warnings and cautions with it.

Mantak Chia talks about the development of sexual energy and gaining the ability to achieve orgasm without sperm loss. In my understanding this is the true secret behind magickal development. Sexual arousal reaches a heightened point where bio-electrical/sexual energy floods the entire body and is channeled in particular up the spine. Sperm loss is prevented by forcibly keeping the pelvic diaphram tightly shut. It does not drain into the bladder as some critics maintain.

For the female the bio-electical energy naturally floods the entire body during sexual arousal and orgasm. The secret is for the male to become more like the female in this experience. The energy from a physical experience is forced to become a non-physical experience as the energy floods the body. Physical energy is stressed to the point that it transmutes into magnetic/astral energy.

Crowley mentions the fable of the Leprachaun as a hidden way of talking about this. Holding the little man tightly and not letting him escape no matter how hard he tries will lead a person to a pot of gold. The hidden meaning of this fable is the importance of learning how to control the orgasm and use the sexual energy to fill the body without loosing control. This is very hard for the untrained person to do but very natural at the same time.

There is a sharp contrast and distinction between Mantak Chia and Crowley. Mantak Chia is a very strong advocate of achieving orgasm without sperm loss and Crowley is a strong advocate of consumption of the sexual fluids after orgasm.

The answer to this riddle lies in the nature of sexual energy itself. It is bio-electrical in nature and the sperm contains energy like electricity in a charged battery. All physical matter is potentially capacitive in nature and capable of holding or discharging energy. When sexual energy floods the body the bio-electrical charge is being drained from the sperm. After orgasm sperm might have nutritional value but it's bio-electrical energy is rapidly lost or already lost in the waves of pleasure flooding the body before orgasm itself. This is why sexual arousal and prolonged love making is so powerful.

Mantak Chia's method of deliberately generating sexual energy without sperm loss is possible. I have done it with remarkable results. I also found sperm loss would not allow the generation of sexual energy daily for any length of time. I would simply not have the energy for it. Mantak Chia is right, Crowley is wrong, at least in the sense of what I can do twice daily over a seven year period.

Crowley goes on to state this practice gives mixed results of a sporadic nature that follow no rhyme or reason. My twice daily experience “ALWAYS” led to intense astral activity and vivid dreams during the night. It was as if a strong electrical charge was injected into the astral and needed to work itself out during the nights dream activity. This included severe astral conflicts and succubus type experiences that were caused by the generation of this energy.

What follows are some blind superstitions about what Crowley thought was happening and why the results were so sporadic.

Crowley thought diet was a factor such as eating a heavy meal. My experience proves otherwise. The development of sexual energy was always the same even though it was more difficult at times. There were times the astral seemed receptive to more energy, times when it would not accept energy and times when it drained energy from me on it's own. This receptivity of the astral was tied in very strongly to the lunar cycle. Times that were most critical were near the full moon and the new moon.

At these times the stress could be felt very intensely during the day and it could also be felt when the stress broke free and the energy was released somewhere in the astral or within myself. This build up of energy "pressurized" my astral system and found any weak spots causing them to rupture. In time the weak spots were external within the world and not internal. All of this involved the creation of the "magickal link" in a meaningful manner.

Any amount of work with sexual energy will be of benefit dependant upon the intensity and length of time practiced. Saftey precautions must be practiced to avoid pressurizing the system and activating repressed energy pockets. This could result in psychotic behaviors.

The build up of this energy produced vivid dreams and astral experiences of a dramatic nature. My experience was of energy expanding outward into the astral planes and encountering other energies. Sometimes it would react in a positive manner and sometimes in a negative manner. This was a time of extreme astral conflicts and duels in which I always emerged victorious or in a draw. I could tell I was gaining in power and ability. I spent lots of time in astral travel researching and gathering information.

As each astral body was created new sensory perceptions were possible within astral journeys. At first these journeys were mental projections but later developed into etheric projections.

Crowley mentions the sporadic nature of results seen in performing sex magick for particular results. Sometimes you would get good results and other times you would not. My experience showed sexual energy would act like matter/anti-matter when it contacted opposing energy and both energies would be destroyed. If the opposing force was very strong repeated dream encounters might be required before it was totally destroyed. The main concept here was my energy would replenish itself faster than the opposing energy would.

This would be very much like moving a mountain out of the way one bucket full at a time. Each encounter reduces the size of the mountain but for a long time it remains bigger than you are. This results in recurring dreams until the issue is resolved and you overpower the resistance.

Magickal empowerment through this practice shows the astral worlds in an entirely different way. Somethings are easy to change and others might be impossible to affect magickally. As the magickal energy grows the stress in the astral grows also. The astral will always rupture at the weakest link. If the weakest link is within the practicioner the result will be inner growth with the repair and strengthening of the damaged area.

Basically the magician is developing the ability to contain this magickal/sexual energy and direct it where they will. The ability to contain this energy is difficult to attain and leads to seemingly sporadic results.

All of the above deals mainly with autoerotic practices.

Mantak Chia offers clarity and insight into this issue by saying that some sexual partners are compatable and the energies join together in a permanent manner that works to develop the soul and it's powers.

Other sexual partners are not compatable and the sexual energy generated is destroyed and dissapears after a few days.

Thus in magick it is important to find a sexual partner you can work magick with and have your energies blend to create stronger souls and magickal abilities.

You know when this happens because your blended energies create something in the relationship in in your soul that was not there before. The soul responds by growing.

Crowley does alude to this and calls these magickal partners "scarlet women". He had seven or eight of them over a period of years. My experience does echo this except I called the women "soulmates" because that is what I thought they were at the time. Each cycle with a different woman builds up one of the "sheaths" or "astral bodies", there being eight in all. I did not have physical sexual relations with many of my "scarlet women", Crowley had physical and astral sexual relations with all of them. I had "astral" sexual relations with all of them. Similar but proving that it is not physical sex but astral sex that is what is important here.

Semen and sexual fluids are highly conductive physical molecules with an immense ability to hold or discharge bio-electrical energy. It is the bio-electrical energy that carries the magick and produces magickal effects, not the sexual fluids themselves. This is obvious to any male that has attempted sex using a rubber condom that prevents the bio-electrical current from flowing easily. Condoms prevent energy flow. They act as an electrical insulator.

It is the bio-electrical energy that is channeled up the spine or transmitted to magickal objects during "sex magick" workings. This bio-electrical energy appears equally in men and women but with different natures. Males can only produce male sexual energy and females can only produce female sexual energy. Magick and the development of the soul and it's powers requires an equal balance from both. We need to get what we lack from our partners.

It is the blend of male/female energy that creates the soul and its various sheathes or bodies. It is our daily interaction with the opposite sex that helps our souls to grow and develop. The generation of sexual energy increases the attraction/repulsion effect and speeds the entire process. That is why working with sexual energy is considered so effective.

9th Degree Magickal Initiation

The 9th Degree belongs to those that have crossed the "Great Abyss" and entered into a new state of consciousness and awareness that is beyond the mental. Through the ages this awareness has been termed "Comic Consciousness" or "Christ Consciousness".

This awareness involves the direct perception of self-evident truth on a global and universal scale. The 9th Degree initiate simply "knows" things through direct perception.

The crossing of the "Great Abyss" is also entry into the stages of "unity" and membership into the group of Adepts known as "The Great White Brotherhood". This group of advanced souls guides and directs the human race in it's evolution.

In crossing the Great Abyss the Adept taps into the raw power of the Cosmic itself and makes a quantum leap into a new state of being. All old attainments are stripped away and a new permanent "Immortal Body" is born or created. This new immortal body is called a "babe of the abyss". It is the source of the term "born again" and "virgin birth". That is because there is a sexual aspect to it's creation.

In other posts and writings of my own I have openly stated my belief that the Gods and Goddesses of various pantheons throughout history were once human beings that attained to "Godhood" through the development of the "immortal physical" body as it is called by some.

That is why the 9th degree also holds the secret of sex magickal practice.

In essence sexual arousal and passion create a bio-electrical charge within the person or persons engaged in sexual activity of any type. This energy floods the body until it completely fills it up. This bio-electrical energy or charge should be channeled up the spine toward the "Spiritual Light" and the crown chakra. Sacred vows of "chastity" do not require abstinance but instead require a sense of the sacred and holy connected to sexual activity and its generation.

It is the cumulative formation and collection of this bio-electrical charge over time that results in the creation of the "immortal physical body" and the attainment of "Godhead".

All of creation is the result of the combination of male and female energies and I have written much about this duality in my own writings. Crowley adds an interesting twist to this that is supported by my own Rosicrucian studies.

The male and female through physical sex produce the miracle of life and this is happening at all levels of life throughout the universe. But true power and immortality come from the union of male and female energies through physical sex when no physical child is conceived. When this energy is forced to flow backwards within the body the combined male and female energies result in the development and birth of an astral child.

This reversal of the natural flow of energy was considered an abomination by some since it meant inventing ways of having sex that did not result in pregnancy and childbirth. The danger lie in losing sight of the sacredness of achieving the godhead and falling into abominations of non sacred sexuality.

In today's world we might even consider modern types of birth control including the male having a vasectomy as a method that would generate sexual energy and force it backwards through the body without pregnancy and child birth. This is also why most sex magickal practices are autoerotic.

Alchemically what happens is that seven sheathes or astral bodies are to created one at a time. The first is of Luna and a babe of the abyss. The second is of Venus. The Third Mars, the fourth Saturn, the fifth mercury, the sixth Jupiter and the seventh Sol. These also correspond to the seven lower sepheroth and the seven chakra centers of the body.

If we say this another way astral bodies are created out of spiritual, mental, emotional, sexual, etheric and physical energies. Each type of energy creates a specific type of astral body with specific abilities and characteristics.

The creation of these seven bodies leads to the final development of the "immortal physical" body. This final astral body is the synthisis of all the others. It marks the culmination of "inward magickal development" and the beginning of "outward" magickal development.

We are meant to be Gods and Goddesses and our most important and supreme efforts should be toward that attainment. Is summary it is possible to become Gods and Goddesses and many before us throughout history have done this and the pathway is a known one.

This supreme secret of developing the soul and becoming Gods and Goddesses through the generation of bio-electrical sexual energy has not only been at the root of all religions and mystery schools of the past but will also be the root of all religions and mystery schools of the future. As above and so below, the spiritual light will always be associated with the phallus and sperm while the moon and the earth will always be associated with the female mysteries.

Like the yin/yang symbol neither male or female will ever encompass the divine in totality. There are mysteries for the male that are incomprehensible to any female and likewise there are mysteries for the female that are incomprehensible to any male. Each has it's mysteries, worship and devotions and they complement each other, needing and using each other to create stability and unity in self and in the creation of the universe. If you are male, follow the male mysteries and if you are female, follow the female mysteries. In so doing each can become the God and Goddess. 8th Degree Magickal Initiation

The higher degrees of magickal initiation invariably talk more and more about the mysteries of sex magick. It is worth noting that the 8th degree also carries administrative functions such as the chartering and administration of a "Temple" and giving the higher degree initiations up to the 8th.

The 8th degree initiate is becoming much more involved with group energy dynamics and magickal group energy workings. This means magickal progress is two fold. It is both individual and group.

It is nearly impossible to give a rational comment of this degree. Crowley talks around the subject of "Gods" having relations with "mortals" and of how various cultures and religions have talked around this same subject.

He attempts to give historical credibility to the notion of some type of sexual relations and activity between non-physical beings such as God/desses, Incubi/Succubi, fairies. The obvious intent is to illustrate the importance of certain types of "Astral Dreams" that involve not only a sexual element but culminate in the "birth" of an "astral child" or "babe of the abyss".

The adept is said to beget a child upon the great Goddess herself.

I had this experience over fifteen years ago shortly after crossing the Great Abyss. It was the beginning of what I have called "soulmate" cycles and what Crowley called "Scarlet Women" experiences in which seven astral bodies or vehicles were created over a period of several years. One astral body was created is a cycle with one of the seven women.

I was at the time working with Mantak Chia's method of cultivating sexual energy and am living proof that his method works as well as Crowley's methods. My generation of sexual/bio-electrical energy pulled me into "astral relations" with actual living people that had chakra energies compatable with my own. The result was the mutual creation of astral bodies for both of us developed out of that shared energy. I did not have physical sexual relationships with most of them as this was not needed.

The birth of an astral child was the very vivid birth of a living baby complete with an umbilical cord and covered with some blood. That astral child became the new dwelling place for my awareness. It was the birth of what I call a "permanent astral body" created out of soulmate energy. Or perhaps the birth of the "Immortal" astral body.

Previous to this happening I had developed an astral body with that type of energy out of "collective" or "group" energy. The creation of an astral body out of "group" or "collective" energy always precedes the "birth" of an astral body out of "soulmate" energy.

The bottom line here is that this has happened throughout history in all cultures and within all religions.

The 8^th degree initiate is to form sexual relations with one of these "non-physical" entities in the hopes of creating such a "child". Crowley suggests using "Elementals" to begin with. I find much of this rather bizarre since my own "succubis" type experiences turned out to be astral encounters with women that physically existed and that I had some type of connection to. My encounters were "spontanious" and not chosen. The energy seemed to build until it leapt like a lightning strike to find a suitable astral companion.

Thus my experience here differs widely from what Crowley suggests. I believe there is no need for the concept of elementals, fairies , succubus and such to explain a natural and purely mechanical process that is automatically driven by the daily generation of sexual/bio-electrical energy.

Simply put we share energy astrally with a magickal partner that is compatable to us and something grows inside both of us because of this experience. The energy in time grows into a permanent astral body of that type of energy.

Lastly the initiate is warned that this process can't be lightly undertaken since it is attempting to reverse the very energies of life itself. If we stop we leave ourselves wide open for disaster since we are working with the substance of our very core. If we falter or reverse ourselves there is no protection that can help us. We are totally vulnerable to this energy we have created. If we allow it to turn evil it will mean disaster for us. This is similar to how a created thought form left on it's own will become malevolent.

7th Degree Magickal Initiation

OAK teaches that all of creation is formed out of the photon or light and it's reciprocal electricity. The photon or light is an expansive outward movement and is considered "male" energy. Electricity on the other hand is an "inward" movement and is considered "female" energy.

The "Sun" is considered the creator of all life and recognized as such by all people of all times. In this manner the "Light" of the "Sun" is sacred and worthy of worship. OAK also reflects this thought in the consideration that everything is reducable to the photon. It might also be said that everything that exists is a "type of evolved photon".

It is worth mentioning that there is a "hidden" sun behind the physical sun. This is the "black sun" that exists as a black hole at the center of our galaxy. This is symbolized as the cosmic mother or Goddess.

In like manner the sexual/bio-electrical energy within the human body is the creator of human life. This energy is generated during sexual arousal and floods the physical body before entering the astral planes.

This sexual/bio-electrical energy should be generated and "lifted" up into the "light" as a sacred act of devotion in which the "lesser" light is lifted up to become one with the "greater" light.

The student should on a daily basis generate this sexual/bio-electrical energy and channel it upwards toward the spiritual light. Thus will the aspirant become a store house of this energy and a magnet for more subtle magickal energies drawing to him or herself spiritual encounters of a higher nature.

This might be seen as auto-erotic devotion and worship of the sexual/bio-electrical energy generated through sexual activity and circulated upward toward the spiritual light.

Crowley sees this as a form of Phallus worship in which the phallus and sperm are seen as objects of devotion instead of the sexual/bio-electrical energy itself. They are symbols of the "lesser light". While his message is distorted, the effect is the same in that the initiate is encouraged in auto-erotic practices through worship and veneration of the phallus.

In worshipping the phallus, the real work of generating sexual/bio-electrical is begun creating magickal strength in the practioner and magically attracting secret events of a higher more spiritual nature that can only be hinted at. (meaning of course the beginning of sexual succubis like experiences and culminating in the "birth" of an "astral child". This self-begotten astral body is the beginning of the creation of the "immortal" body and of magickal power.)

The summary of this degree is simply that generation of sexual energy on a constant basis is cumulative and will propell one toward the needed experiences for additional soul development.

6th Degree Magickal Initiation

In one sense the 6th degree is an administrative degree and continues working with group energy. While the 4th and 5th degrees allow the initiate to form their local circle or chapter the 6th degree grants authority for a larger group like a Lodge.

The 6th degree initiate has more responsibilities in terms of initiating others through the higher degrees as well. Still there is higher knowledge transmitted in these higher degrees beginning with the 6th.

It would serve no purpose to comment on these initiations in specific detail. These concepts do remain of interest to OAK members and other occult students, especially in the areas of sex magick and the development of the seven sheathes and immortal soul body or the achievement of “Godhead”. In short these teachings involve the development of the "soul".

This is done through the generation of sexual/bio-electrical energy and it's mingling or "nupitals" with "seven brides" or "seven scarlet women". There are at least two paths to the achievement of this quest. One is through the generation of sexual/bio-electical energy as suggested by Mantak Chia. This is the path I have personally followed and experienced for over seven years. The other is through the various practices described by Aleister Crowley as he understood them and practiced them.

The true understanding to be shared in this degree is that of the "seven brides" or "seven scarlet women". As the male generates and develops his sexual/bio-electrical nature he will attract through magnetic attraction/love a suitable partner and exchange sexual/bio-electrical energy with her. This sharing of sexual/bio-electrical energy will culminate in the development of one astral body or "sheath" as it is sometimes called. When the process is finished there will be no more attraction/love between the two and they will be free to move on. This general process is to be repeated at least seven times with different women, brides or harlots.

This is why love sparks and then dies within many relationships. It sparks and works to create an astral body for both partners. When the cycle is finished the energy no longer has anywhere to go. Each person has grown as much as they will within that relationship

A common mistake in occult groups is the concept of "polyamory" in the sense that reaching the 6th degree a male or female candidate might be told to look around the group and choose a sexual partner of their choice or swear to perform sexually on demand of a brother or sister. My problem with this issue is that the ego chooses when rightfully it is the energy that must make the choice and it must be mutual. In such cases it also often helps to realize that a "cycle" is involved and this "love" one feels for the other will be sated at the end of the cycle when they no longer need each other. In this manner it might happen that one person will for a short time leave their partner of choice when entering a "cycle" with someone else.

Another common error is the belief that these "nupitals" must be physically consumated with the exchange of physical sexual fluids. "Internet sex" is a growing term for a type of nupital that takes place entirely on the astral planes and reflects more accurately the true nature of these nupitals and the development of the soul. Today people are routinely falling in love and dreaming about people that they have met only on the internet. These relationships give a succubus or incubus type of experience.

What happens is simply that when the energy of two people combine in the right way something is created and each person can feel it grow. They feel they are "more" than they were before they met the other person. That is what makes a "magickal" relationship.

In summary I will say the secret of this degree is not about indiscriminate sex. These nupitals are truly "soulmates" and the relationship is one of love even if it is not physical sexual love and the mingling of bodily fluids or their consumption.

The secret is the need for seven brides or husbands, one for each chakra with its own particular type of energy and love and passion. When the cycle is over each partener is free to move on going separate ways but still loving each other. Let the energy choose!

5th Degree Magickal Initiation

In this, the 5th degree a choice is made and once done it can never be undone. This degree is true entry into brotherhood and sisterhood with the blessing of the God and Goddess. It involves the mysteries of group energy linking and integration.

Everything prior to this point has involved working with individual energy and individual effort. Group energy and "organizational" energy has long been utilized by politicians and the mass media. The 5th Degree Initiate is not only part of a group. He or she is now the leader of a group and the focus point of it's magickal energies.

At the conclusion of the initiation the candidate finds both true bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood in the forging of physical/magickal links with other members and establishes permanent connection to the “Spiritual Light” as a cosmic power source. This initiation marks the “Adept” and confers the powers of the “Adept”.

The 4th Degree initiate may struggle to find people interested in forming a circle or lodge. It is the 5th degree initiate that will "attract" members! The 4th Degree may have the power and authority but the 5th degree has the magickal power to attract new members. This is an important transition point in how the magickal energy flows and how things manifest in physical life.

In some manner the 5th degree initiate develops the support of community and becomes empowered by it. They have begun the process of making their personal belief system compatable with normal society and attractive to the public at large. As they gain supporters their personal power grows.

4th Degree Magickal Initiation

In Masonic and Magickal Orders you will find an initiation that is often called "The Royal Arch Degree".

The Royal Arch Degree in all branches of Freemasonry is but a diluted symbolic version of the OAK Energy Ball Meditation as it contacts each chakra center and cleanses it on it's way downward into the center of the earth itself. As such the OAK Energy Ball meditation is the real thing only symbolically enacted in Crowley's ritual. Depending on which branch of Freemasonry is involved the initiate needs to symbolically excavate and clear seven or nine secret chambers to at last reach the lost word. These seven or nine secret chambers are the seven chakra energy centers within the body and also the one directly above the head and beneath the feet for a total of nine.

In the OAK Energy Ball meditation this process is actually done with very real results. This method was known in the past but lost. Only OAK has rediscovered the true experiential meaning of this very important degree. The OAK energy ball meditation will be covered in later posts.

The OAK 1st Degree Initiation.
This is an addendum to the 4^th degree or Royal Arch initiation and marks it's closing when properly done. This is when one's Higher Self sits firmly on the Spiritual Throne and regulates one's life in balance. This process can only be discerned by the initiator.

In the OAK system this marks the completion of the Energy Ball Meditation when performed in a group setting by a trained person leading the group. The energies of the group are used to help the individual blast through obstructed areas and connect the energies of Spiritual Light deep into the core of the earth.

It also aligns the initiate strongly with the energies of the OAK Egregore. A person that has completed the OAK 1st Degree Initiation is qualified to initiate others and form their own lodge or circle. This is a physical initiation and entry into an entirely different level of magickal practice.

3rd Degree Magickal Initiation

Symbolic Freemasonry and this 3^rd degree initiation as a Master Mason or Master Magician is simply the most profound and powerful that I know of. In my opinion this initiation gives what the "Blue Lodge" only promised.

The symbolic murder of the Master continues with a search in "all directions" for his body symbolizing that all paths must be taken before the right one can be found. This is echoed elsewhere by the sword that turns in all directions keeping Adam and Eve from returning to Eden and the story of Parsifal doomed to travel all roads before he can find salvation.

The metaphysical and occult secret of this is that once you step onto the path leading toward "God hood" and the reversal of the life force energy you will encounter this phenomenon over and over again. You will not be allowed to progress until you have given 125 %. The natural elasticity of the astral and the tendency of the universe to resist change will resist your efforts until you have given much more than needed.

Like Parsifal doomed to travel all roads, you can only advance when you have no where else to go. In many ways this is like trying to dam a river and plugging all the escape paths for the water until no escape routes exist and the water is allowed to build up behind the dam and gather power.

Once things change in your favor however, that same elasticity and tendency to resist change will work for you instead of against you.

Magickally this initiation shows how an astral body can be created by the initiate through the generaton of intense physical effort. Envision the candidate struggling under a burden of heavy chains he or she can barely carry struggling forward widdershins in an enclosed magickal circle for nearly an hour to get a general idea. Then focus that entire generated physical energy back into the initiate as they are "raised" back from the dead as a "Master Mason". An astral body is truly created although it is created of "group" energy mixed with the initiates and not "pure" energy as created in the "scarlet women/soulmate/seven brides" cycles of the higher degrees.

These Scarlet women/soulmate/seven brides cycles come later, first is the creation of an astral body out of "group" energy or "collective" energy.

The problem is that this merely gives the "illusion" of success through the creation of this astral body. The magickal link remains to be created and nothing of value will happen till the magickal link exists. As the initiate continues to generate more of this energy he or she will develop the magickal link and be drawn into a scarlet woman/soulmate/seven bride cycle. This will permanently establish his or her power in that particular energy.

There are two parts to magickal empowerment. They are the development of the magickal body and the development of the magickal link. Both are mechanical processes that simply require the physical body to generate a specific type of energy allowing it to accumulate until both are accomplished. The development of a magickal body can be as described through the generation of energy within a magickally closed circle. The creation of the magickal link is to simply give out energy until it goes around the world and comes back to you. You give until you get back…..This is what creates the magickal link. In the mundane world we call it simple competency.

In the creation of this astral body the initiate is truly able to experience that life and consciousness can and do exist indepent of the physical body. This is the true gift of this initiation.

2nd Degree Magickal Initiation

The principle power and ordeal of this degree is to publicly come out of the closet and openly be known for who you are and for what you believe.

There is trickery implied within the initiation itself that suggests the possibility of "coming out" in a way that does not hurt or cause damage or endangerment to one's social status or employment.

This initiation begets two types of initiates, those that openly proclaim publicly who they are and damn the consequences and those that find a way around the obligaton to fullfill it through word but not through spirit.

In this manner cleverness is seen to be equal to the ability to take pain and hardship thus planting the seed that deception of others might be admissible conduct.

Freemasonry has the story of a Knight that was charged to openly declare his membership by publicly posting a bill containing the particulars of his membership to a forbidden organization. The clever knight wrote his own information on the "back" of a different bill and posted it in public so that others saw it but could not read what was written on the back.

Some Knights were angry saying he had cheated. Other knights felt that he had shown true brilliance and should be rewarded. His trickery was allowed. He became a superior in the Order….This initiation seems to be somewhat based on that old story.

In addition to publicly coming out of the closet the initiate is also taught the importance of guarding and coming to the defense of his or her brothers and sisters. Even the strongest warrior has moments of weakness and it is at these times that the support of his or her brothers and sisters is most needed.

I can vouch that openly coming out of the closet is a very empowering experience. Anarchist World is my open proclaimation of who I am and what I believe. It has been incredible!

All too often people get the wrong impression and are led to believe something when the opposite is the truth. There are always two ways to veiw something. Take the word "Anarchist" for example. 1st Degree Magickal Initiation

The 1st Degree Initiation is a very serious thing that creates a magickal link between the initiate and the Order that lasts for life. This is a very serious matter not to be lightly taken.

We consider this Initiation entry into the egregore of the Order. When we cross this threshold our entire being crosses and our very essence will be contained and to a degree controlled by this egregore. The egregore is a force stronger than us and we voluntarily submit in the understanding that such submission will mold us in the way we are meant to be molded. In a way the egregore of the Order is a "soul catcher" and we place our "trust" in it.

As this egregore envelopes and contains us it also isolates and protects us from outside influences. The ties we have with other non-Order influences are severed one by one until there is only the Order itself. We are to find everything, even love within the Order. This of course is only my interpretation of what happens. Every group has it's own ways.

During this initial initiation we are brought into contact with a magickal current called "The Light of Life". This is represented by the pentacle we are given at the conclusion of the ceremony. In solving this riddle we consider that "Spiritual Light" is represented by the sun in the lower degrees and in the higher degrees "The Light of Life" is represented by sexual/bio-electrical energy.Thus in this first initiation we are in some manner impressed with the sexual/bio-electrical energy of the Order through a physical initiation.

This energy is transmitted through the initiator who is a channel for this energy. It should be noted the 1^st Degree initiation does not involve sexual practices. It merely involves an introduction to sexual/bio-electrical energy generated through ceremony by the men and women within the group. Many Orders require that males initiate females and vice versa. This is true of Gardnerian Wicca.

We get a glimpse of a magickal Order founded on and created out of sexual/bio-electrical "Light of Life" energy and "grounded" through hard physical activity and ritual. This reminds me more of the "shamanistic" path than the mystical path. The Shamanistic path involves the crossing of a lower abyss and the connection to a "power animal".

There is not much "mysticism" to be noted within magickal groups although literature is littered with the concept of "raising" the "Light of Life" or "kundalini" into the "Spiritual Light". All things considered, when you take the sexual/bio-electrical energy teachings and combine them with the mystical Literature describing and leading to the crossing of the Great Abyss, you have the recipe for becoming a God or Goddess and developing the seven sheathes or astral bodies and the "immortal body". This is the true source of magickal power known to the great mystery school of the ages. It is the combining of the Cosmic "Light" energy and the "Dark" Earth energy that brings true magickal empowerment.

In magickal Orders I find the process to be first the magickal path and then the mystical path while OAK first follows the mystical path and then the magickal path. In this manner they are true reciprocals of each other. The interesting thing is that the OAK energy ball work finishes the Spiritual aspect of the Great Work and can be done in a matter of days leaving more time for developing the earthly connection.

The "earth connection" and entry into the "shamanic underworld" is rapidly achieved by the generation of physical activity like martial arts or physical training of some kind. Athletes do have magickal power in their abilities to manifest physical events. If you want to enter the shaman underworld sign up for marine bootcamp. In two months your lower astral body will be activated and your "earth" connection will be strong.

It is the "middle" sexual/bio-electrical energy and the development of the astral sheathes and "immortal body" that takes years.

What I'm saying is "magickal orders" follow the magickal path first and then the mystical path while "mystical orders" like the Rosicrucians follow the mystical path first and then the magickal path. This makes OAK a "mystical order".

In this degree the candidate is requested to become familiar with the techniques and accept them as a guide to life. I will comment on these techniques in later posts.

The energy current that passes through the new initiate will increase his or her vitality and magnetism. This means they will both attract and repell things more strongly. Their lives will become more intense and there will be a growing need to gain mastery of these new energies.

The Suggestive Universe

Before I get down into working with magickal energies I would like to share this most important concept. The universe is suggestive and tends to do what is expected. What you expect to find has a greater possibility than what you don't expect.

Physicists are finding that their own expections seem to influence what happens on the subatomic level.

People are very suggestive and tend to comply with what other people ask unless they have a good reason not to. There is a natural instinct to comply with external authorities. This is survivalistic in nature. "Do what you are told or else".

The Rosicrucians teach that you may petition the Cosmic and it will respond as long as what you ask for is 51% unselfish. That means it will benefit others just as much or a little more than it will benefit you.

Where does all this leave us?

In all magickal work it is very important to have a strong and vivid image of what you desire. Even more importantly you need to ask for it! You need to ask the Cosmic and you need to ask people. If you are not letting others know what you want how can they let you have it or give it to you?

It is good magickal practice every day to clearly state what you want and let people know why it is in their own best interests as well. If you do this deliberately every day it will become a habit and the results will begin to flow toward you magickally!

I've seen the greatest results in my marriage. By clearly expressing things to my spouse there is greater understanding and greater mutual support. It helps her to understand me better and I listen to what she wants and gain a greater understanding of what is important to her.

It feels good to know what is important to someone else and be able to do that for them.

Think back over what happened yesterday. Did you specifically ask in prayer or meditation for something you desired? If you didn't why not? Your intuition can guide you to find the opportunities that seek but you need to listen to it.

Did you specifically state to someone else just what you wanted or did you let a tangled communication slide and not bother making it right? Every time we allow this someone walks away with a wrong understanding of us and what we want.

The last part of this message is about listening to the feedback we are getting from both the universe and from other people. If the universe and other people are saying "no, I'm not going to let you have that" we need to understand why.

There are areas in our lives that are "cursed". We repell what we want no matter how hard we try. The only way to break that curse is through old fashioned competency and doing things the hard way.

The needed actions come out of our blind spots and the only way to progress is through trial and error. There are lots of errors because we instinctively choose the wrong things and do the wrong things. This can't go on forever though. If we learn from our mistakes we gradually figure out what we are doing wrong and make corrections. This means becoming more realistic.

Just remember the brick wall manifests when we are going in the wrong direction even if we are convinced it is the right direction. Perhaps the need is to go around some obstacle that is in the way and not through it.

The greatest magick empowerment comes from changing curses into blessings. At the same time it is important to take a rest from the fight once in awhile and smell the roses in your garden. Don't forget the areas in your life that are blessed. They are more than willing to cooperate with you. They will give you the peace to remain centered and to continue.

The Soul of Humanity

I swayed as a wave of light swept over me and lifted me into an altered state. I had just finished a self initiation from one of my weekly Rosicrucian Monographs. The energy in my living room was incredible. I had never felt anything like it. My hair felt like static electricity was every where.

Slowly I opened my eyes. They were drawn to the center of the living room. A seated figure was floating about three feet off the ground. He was dressed in a robe and his aura radiated love and authority. He didn't say anything but the message was clear. You have done well, you have earned this visit.

I didn't believe what my eyes were seeing and carefully moved around the floating figure veiwing it from every direction. It did not vanish or go away. It was very real. It lasted for an hour before fading away.

That is what the Rosicrucians were to me, very real. One of the things they taught was that humanity shared a single soul. We are all part of the same soul. We are all part of each other. The Collective Soul of humanity is very real and very powerful.

It has been known by many names. Ancients called the soul of humanity "Adam" or "Adam" and "Eve". The "God" and "Goddess" are the guiding intelligences of the human race. They are very much human and very real. "Adam" is the male portion of the human soul and "Eve" is the female portion.

In their combined form they are simply termed "The Collective", "Cosmic Consciousness" or "Cosmic Awareness". To contact these divine intelligences is to achieve "Christ Consciousness". This has always been the goal of mystics around the world. The Rosicrucians were just one school of thought but they were very real.

There are many schools that are real and each person will be drawn to the school that is right for them. OAK is such a school and will attract souls in harmony with its concepts and practices. Each must trust their hearts and instincts in this.

We share a common soul but like the human body there are many different systems. In the human body the circulatory system is different from the digestive system. The respiratory system is different from the nervous system. This is a metaphor that tries to show how belief systems can be radically different yet still valid in the greatest context.

Each system of thought, each school has a magickal power or current that flows through it and through all individual members that belong to it. This current is real, this magickal power is real. You can feel it when you come in contact with it.

Walking a solitary path is not valid in this sense. There are only a small handful of mystics and magicians capable of "bringing fire from Heaven" and tapping into the raw power of the cosmic. Even they need initiation into a valid school for early training and soul development. This training allows them to reach out even further to the Source. Everyone else needs initiation into a magickal current of collective energy. This is done through membership in a valid school.

I was drawn to the Rosicrucian current and initiated into it at the age of eighteen. This was followed by later initiations into the Traditional Martinist Order, York Rite of Freemasonry and Ordo Templi Orientis.

It was the Rosicrucians that helped me in my journey across the Great Abyss. OAK is the "fire" that has been entrusted to me. It is the gift I have been given to share. OAK is a valid magickal and mystical school. Its initiations are real and empowering. They bring a person in contact with the energy of the new eon that is now surging through this world.

You will know in your heart if this energy is compatable with the energy of your own soul. You will know if this knowledge is what you are seeking. The attraction or repulsion will be very real and very strong. Take a few minutes to reflect upon your own reaction to these words and sense their rightness or wrongness for you.

Curses and Blessings

Have you ever felt like there was an area in your life that was cursed? No matter what you did or how hard you tried nothing would go right for you. I know you have felt that way because we all have and we all do.

There is a dual quality to the magickal universe. When energy flows in one direction something else comes in to take its place. Nature does not allow a vacuum.

I look around the house and see electrical outlets everywhere. The wires run inside the walls where I can't see them. Guess what's running inside the wires? Electricity? Much more than electricity! Magnetic fields radiate from the wires. There is a pulsing you can almost hear. It's called the 60 cycle hum and if you've ever gotten a shock from it you will recognize the feeling.

But the biggest thing I want to point out is the type of electricity that runs through the walls and literally encases us in a magickal magnetic web. I'm talking about alternating current! The current flows in both directions back and forth. First it's positive, then it's negative.

Alternating current is a form of vibratory energy and the entire physical universe as well as the magickal universe consists largely of alternating current and magnetic force lines or astral cords.

Like the yin/yang symbol that is half male and half female the energy that flows through us is half outward expansive energy and half inward constricting energy. This is how nature keeps in balance. Life contains both and is bitter-sweet. Living a magickal life is bitter-sweet.

No matter what we do there are certain things we can't get because we repell them. Other things we don't want are attracted to us. Is that our curse? To repell the things we want and attract the things we don't want? Is that what life is about?

Magically speaking it is possible to attract the things we want and repell the things we don't want but it is very hard work to reach that stage of magickal development. It requires a complete reversal of the energy flow within us.

That means learning to see curses as blessings and blessings as curses.

Curses are opportunities to become aware of our weaknesses and work on them. They hit where we are the most vulnerable and not where we are strong. The only way to become strong is to develop our weak areas. This is what curses make us do. We struggle against them and learn from our mistakes. With trial and error we develop competency and then mastery. When that happens the curse is broken. It can't harm us anymore. The weak link becomes just as strong as the rest of the chain.

Blessings attract things to us that we haven't earned. They make life too easy and we take things for granted. Because things are so easy we don't try very hard. The simple truth is magickal development is about effort. If things are too easy we will not develop magickally.

In all of this there is both bad news and good news.

The bad news is there will always be magickal energy flowing against you. There will always be curses. The good news is there will always be energy flowing in your favor. There will always be blessings. This is the alternating current effect and it fills the entire universe. You can't get away from it. Life is bitter-sweet. Get used to it. Learn to love it.

How can you enjoy prosperity when those you love and care about are going through hard times? This is only an example. What good is having fancy toys to play with if there is no one to share them with you?

When one goal is reached another will take it's place. When one fear is confronted another will take its place as well. The answer lies not in the destination but in the quality of life along the way!

Magick, Mystery and Madness

Have you ever fallen in love with the mystery and elusiveness of magick? Do the shadows make your pulse jump? Does energy work fill you with an intense pleasure?

I know that over the years it has done this for me and much more. What yearning can possess someone to seek initiations into secret organizations and knowledge? There is a hunger in my soul that only magick can fill and this book is for those like me.

In the subjective world of magick where everyone percieves differently there is one universal truth. Once you have experienced something magickal you can recognize when other people talk about similar experiences even when they use different words and concepts.

This is such a broad subject and there are so many places one could start.

I've chosen to begin my book of shadows with magick and it's ties to physical reality. Contrary to what many believe magick is for those seeking material manifestations and intense physical living. It is not an escape from reality but an intense immersion into physical reality.

Magickal energy is generated by the physical body. It stands to reason that anyone seriously interested in magick will take good care of their physical body and treat it as the temple it truely is.

Extreme living is the norm for magickal practioners. Often excessive, compulsive behavior is needed to develop the magickal powers of the soul. Think about it. An intense energy drives people that are serious about magick.

So what is magick? It makes me almost puke to hear "change in conformity with will" or some other garbage.

Let me tell you what I've heard from sources I trust. The Rosicrucians claim that H.Spencer Lewis,former Imperator, was able to manifest gold alchemically in a public demonstration. Joseph Weed mentions that a Rosicrucian Master manifested physical roses falling in an auditorium. These roses had stems that tapered to points. They were not natural flowers.

These statements clearly state physical manifestations are possible. As a Rosicrucian of over twenty years I've studied the techniques claimed to manifest these things. I have not had such impressive results. I some day hope to find conclusive proof of this one way or the other.

What I have personally experienced is powerful transformative techniques that have changed my life. These have been magickal in every way. I have also experienced precognitive dreams on a regular basis that prove physical events must happen astrally before they manifest physically.

I have also experienced lucid dreaming in which the outcome of an event was altered through will and magickal effort. There is no doubt such dreams altered the potential outcome of physical events that happened the next day.

In summary, astral work or dream work can and does alter physical reality before it manifests. That is enough for me to believe in the value of magickal workings and the validity of astral phenomenon.
